The best cabinet minister, indeed – and the only one whose chauffeur was involved in a public shoot-out on a highway in his official government car, still wearing its GM plates, as a result of which he was sacked from the cabinet, under duress (the Prime Minister’s), only to force his way back in again with a ‘you haven’t sacked Konrad Mizzi’ trump card.
