No, she was not a cleaner or an intern: she was Hasheminejad’s executive assistant

The Prime Minister and his chief of staff – let’s not bother with that, they’re Joseph Muscat and Keith Schembri – have got their troll and media team out there saying that the Pilatus Bank whistleblower was an intern or a cleaner, thereby suggesting that there is no way on earth she could have known what was going on at the bank.

I need to put this straight immediately, too. No, she was not a cleaner. No, she was not an intern. She was executive assistant to the owner of the bank, Seyed Ali Sadr Hasheminejad. And that’s exactly how she knew the details, and what was going on.

The whistleblower was his executive assistant.
