Ah, so now we know why the Prime Minister has taken such a keen interest in the ‘stolen sex video’ case, to the point of devoting to it the greater part of his Sunday homily in Mosta.

The lawyer for the couple who were idiotic enough to film themselves – what are people thinking in these situations? – is none other than Labour Party activist Andy Ellul, whose long-time girlfriend Claudia Cuschieri transferred from the Labour Party’s TV station to the Office of the Prime Minister, in 2013, as a ‘person of trust’.

Now both she and Ellul are ‘persons of trust’ to Family Minister Michael Farrugia.
