Cyrus Engerer, the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the European Union and the only one with a criminal record (suspended sentence of two and a half years in prison, confirmed by the Court of Appeal) was asked by Maltese members of the European Parliament for the Maltese government’s position on a transport-related matter, ahead of voting on it.
The Prime Minister’s Special Envoy sent a wordy reply by email, only to receive a snappy one from Labour MEP Marlene Mizzi, complete with exclamation marks, telling him that he had sent his email 20 minutes after voting had begun as scheduled.
