Just when Malta should be working overtime to attract even the smallest part of the financial services exodus from London, it is at the centre of a massive, swirling corruption scandal involving the people at the very top, and the collapse of the rule of law.
Malta and its people are paying a heavy price so that the corrupt gang at the Auberge de Castille can stuff their offshore bank accounts with loot.
