Cabinet ministers Mizzi and Fearne try to buy votes with hampers and bottles of wine

Konrad Mizzi, the Minister Within the Office of the Prime Minister, who is central to the ongoing scandals, is now attempting to buy votes by giving out hampers of corned beef, Oreo cookies, Milka chocolate bars and Twistees to his constituents. The hampers come decorated with his photograph.

Chris Fearne, the Health Minister, is trying to buy votes in the same constituency using cartons containing two bottles of wine, which are decorated with his photograph and the messages MEDICINI IN STOCK and DAQSHEKK PAZJENTI FIL-KURIDURI.
