Joseph Muscat’s official campaign picture: hair again, gone tomorrow

I’m trying to work out why it makes sense to spend time Photoshopping hair infills, but then doing nothing about the five o’clock shadow.

Some people will say that these things are “personal details”. I see it as symptomatic of the liar’s disease with which Muscat has contaminated everything and everyone around him.

This photograph is a serious mistake in a significant way beyond quibbles about hair. It shows the Prime Minister’s pupils to be hyper-dilated. Unless he is extremely attracted to the person who is taking the picture, the only other possible explanation is medical. In the bright light in which this picture is evidently taken, the pupils would ordinarily shrink to cope.
