How much did the Labour Party pay Tony Blair Associates for that video?

Tony Blair speaks only for a handsome fee. He was paid £90,000 to give a brief speech in Baku some years ago, for instance, causing outrage in that city and also in his home country.

How much was he paid to give a testimonial for Joseph Muscat, in a recording played at the Labour Party’s mass meeting yesterday? Blair does nothing of that nature for free: he invoices for his fees through Tony Blair Associates.

People were furious and upset when he spoke in Baku and made no reference to the large number of dissidents and journalists languishing in Azerbaijan’s prisons. Instead he praised the factory he was there to open and cracked jokes about the weather. But he was paid, and he who pays the piper calls the tune.

If he accepted a paid gig to speak in Azerbaijan and make no mention of human rights violations, nobody should be surprised that he accepted a gig for the Malta Labour Party without mentioning corruption and other forms of gross abuse.

How much did Tony Blair Associates charge the Malta Labour Party for that message of endorsement?
