The Prime Minister’s chief of staff has barred my number

I’m trying to ring Keith Schembri, the Prime Minister’s chief of staff, to ask him why he wasn’t at Crane Currency with his boss today, and whether it’s true that he’s pushing his money-laundering buddy Adrian Hillman for a position as CEO of Crane’s Malta operation.
But I can’t, because he’s barred my number. It’s been barred for some time, actually – but I now realise that I hadn’t mentioned this salient fact to my readers.
There you go: transparency in government. The Prime Minister’s chief of staff goes to the length of barring a journalist’s number, because refusing to take her calls was no longer enough.
