Robert Abela: the most self-important lawyer in the electoral campaign

This email was sent to all lawyers this morning, notifying them that Robert Abela – the former president’s son, the current Labour Party executive secretary’s husband, and a Labour electoral candidate – will be too busy campaigning to do his actual work between now and the general election.

In other words, if you have any cases in which he is the lawyer for the opposite party, you can forget about them because they’re going to be adjourned until he’s comfortable returning to work.
