Breaking in Ghana: Malta’s head of state meets her photographic negative

Voice of Africa informs me that Malta’s head of state, President Coleiro Preca, has met Ghana’s head of state, President Akufo-Addo.

This news did not add anything to the rest of my afternoon, except for a brief pause in which I noted the startling similarity between the two. It is not very often, I remarked to my Staffordshire bull terrier, that somebody as small and unusually-shaped as the President of Malta meets her precise photographic negative, but in this case, it has truly happened.
