As for the child abuse charges, the man is really off his rocker. His son – the child in question – is almost 17 and probably dying of shame and embarrassment. The child abuse in question is the fact that I replied directly and civilly to a comment his son posted on this website. This man Portelli – who never had a 16-year-old son until he was in his 70s and so hasn’t a clue on how to deal with 16-year-old boys – seems to have taken umbrage at the fact that I replied to his son, because apparently it’s the equivalent of making a pass at him.
This is exactly why I argue that men more than old enough to be grandfathers should stick to being just that. Sixteen-year-old boys are not something that can be handled by 73-year-old men because it’s not fair on either party.
This man Portelli shouldn’t be surprised that communicating with 16-year-old boys comes easily to me: I had a house full of them, my own and their constant comings and goings of friends. I wish him luck with the child abuse charges and the look he can expect on the face of the police inspector to whom he files his report with a copy of two comments from this website – but I really think his wife Jenny and his son George should now put their foot down.
No 16-year-old boy can survive the embarrassment of having his father file a police report for child abuse – 16-year-old boys don’t think of themselves as children, because they are not children – because their son posted a comment on a journalist’s website and the journalist, who happens to be a woman and older, replied to him and treated him as an adult, which exactly how 16-year-old boys prefer to be treated.
This freak show should never have been part of the Nationalist Party’s leadership race. He’s damaging their image far too badly. Adrian Delia surrounded by thugs and Frank Portelli hating Muslims and lesbians are currently branding the party.
