Scene: A landmine defusing operation in a forest. It is being followed closely via satellite by Central Command.

The officer in charge receives information that the equipment the field soldiers are using is highly unsuitable for the type of landmines they are dealing with.

He dispatches a secret agent with a packet of microchips which will fix the problem. Meanwhile all operations must cease immediately.

The Maltese soldier in charge of the field telephone takes following message:

Your orders are to cease operations. Meet your contact, Ruth, around three in the afternoon.

He hurries off to relay this to the officer in charge.
