Kandidejts

Let's can these dates.

Lou Bondi had a bit of a battibekk with Chris Cardona on television the other night, on the matter of how to define a star candidate.

The Labour internet sites have picked it up, hoping to be sarcastic, but falling flat as usual. They’ve spelled it in Maltese.

iSTAR Kandidejts

Tsk, tsk. Pronunciation! Allura ghal ftit, ghaliex mhux ‘kendidejts’?

  2. Star candidates says:

Star candidates huma dawk li jkunu baaaatew hafna, u kif jghid il-Malti, ikunu qalghu it-tamal.

  3. Sokrate says:

Defining stars: shining celestial bodies, enahncing the aesthetics of the universe and providing man with natural beauty. The Labour Party: deactivated lights along the history of their existence as a political mess characterised by idiots, fools and comedians (no need to mention list of former, present and prospective red hot socialist water baloons). Coming Thursday, God forbid, Franco has the obligation of allowing the Maltese to steer away from a repeat of the socialst jungle ideas and politics. If PL (Partit Lablabi) takes over, the Maltese will indeed ‘jaraw il-kwiekeb’. Franco, take care! Of yourself and of your beloved countrymen.

    • Intuition says:

Franco is a very determined lad, however I have a very strong conviction that on Thursday he will finally decide in favour of himself, in favour of his family and in favour of Malta’s interest.

I have a very strong belief that – after all is said and done – at the time of reckoning, Franco will put his chin up and show that, even for him, Malta’s interest will win over everything and he will vote against the PL’s no-confidence motion.
