Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water

I heard that John Dalli is putting out feelers to potential canvassers for his Gary Glitter comeback. I wait with interest to see how he plans to go about asking the man he has mocked, undermined, derided and scorned on Super One for the last few years to accept him as a PN candidate.

Or maybe he imagines he’s going to dispatch his usual emissary to the party leader to INFORM him that Mr Dalli is to be a candidate whether the party leader likes it or not.

You know, otherwise he will lie down and scream on TX or Inkontri or all over Malta Today and Julia Farrugia’s lavatory paper about how the xibka tal-hazen wants to jeqirdu.

Maybe that is the reason why Super One is attacking Minister Cassar. He is a competitor in the same district.

  2. TROY says:

After the last PN victory, John Dalli ordered his staff and close friends not to go out and celebrate.

    Try and deny this, John.

Is it a given that he would try to be elected on the PN ticket?

[Daphne – Yes, because like Franco, his aim is to be party leader, not a mere MP.]

This man has too many skeletons in his cupboard. He should thank his lucky stars that that so far, he has managed to get away with many things, one of them maliciously accusing a former Daewoo employee of sending anonymous letters claiming to defame him (Dalli).

He is not PM material, let alone MP material. He should quit while he’s ahead. He is a liability to his party and his country. One day his chickens will come home to roost. That is the way of the world.
