Joseph Muscat: servant and acolyte of Franco Debono

The leader of the liberal party of bird-trappers, fireworks enthusiasts, misogynists, black-and-Muslim haters and festa fanatics is on Super One right now, quoting his old classmate Franco Debono:

He’s telling his liberal supporters – who look like a lynch-mob of duttrina teachers and leftovers from the drydocks years – that if they leave their vote uncollected and stay home for Saturday’s local council elections, the happiest person in Malta will be gOnziPn.

I’ve left my vote uncollected – as usual – and will not be voting on Saturday because I know none of those people and couldn’t give a damn anyway. Will this mean that mUsCatpL is going to be the happiest man in Malta?

Local council elections have little to no significance, and those who set great store by them are deluding themselves. That’s one reason Franco Debono was so ridiculous when he spoke about the Nationalist Party losing the last lot of local council elections ‘by a landslide’.

People feel safe voting Labour in a council election, or doing as I do and not voting at all. But in general elections, it’s different. Four broken limbs and semi-consciousness wouldn’t keep me away from THAT polling-booth.
