Ah, now we know why John Bundy switched to the far right, xenophobic party

Published: June 3, 2012 at 1:57am

Here he is, passing around his sage advice, beneath timesofmalta.com’s report on the arrival of 113 African immigrants.

Note to Bundy: governments are ‘it’, not ‘he’.

Another note to Bundy: if you’re going to pretend to be liberal and progressive, the thing to do is make a show of concern for the immigrants and their fate in our concentration camps. Territorial defensiveness is the language of the right wing. Increase the tone by just a notch, and you’re in far right territory.

“Our leaders sitting around a cup of coffee”: What next? A coffee morning with the Libyan Foreign Minister for the two political leaders, hosted by H.E. Abela to discuss the immigration phenomenon ?

    • ciccio says:

They should call Silvio Parnis to organise that. He is the Labour in-house expert on coffee mornings.

  2. Not Tonight says:

I know the world economy is not at its best at the moment, but do they really need to share a cup of coffee?

  3. The Shadow says:

How can one sit round a cup of coffee? Bundy’s English is a crying matter.

  4. Housewife says:

I can’t imagine three persons sitting around a cup of coffee, rather than round a table.

Hemm ħaġa komuni bejn Franco u Bundy. Jekk ma nilghabx inħassar.

Il-bniedem juri li hu ta’ karattru mhux bil-paroli imma bil-fatti anke meta jiltaqa’ mas-saram.

  6. Mandy Mallia says:

It is true that the great influx of immigrants is too much for Malta to sustain, however, I’d rather have that than have their death on my conscience. John Bundy clearly thinks otherwise.

    • Do you realy believe that there are any risks involved?

I had a conversation with one of them a few days ago and they are very well organised.

And what makes you think John Bundy clearly thinks otherwise?

  7. Mrs M says:

How casual Bundy makes it all sound…..
