Read Luciano Busuttil’s justification for being in that racist Facebook group

Published: July 2, 2012 at 10:38am

Left click on the image below and read why Luciano is in that racist group, and why he intends to stay in it despite seeing the situation highlighted here on this website.

He posted that justification on the racist site itself. He immediately received the support of Charles Sammut, who was Norman Lowell’s treasurer at Imperium Europa, a diehard Norman Lowell fan, who seems to be the key man behind the group.

He also received support from Malcolm Seychell, who has spent the last few years flitting between far right groups. Nice.

1. The name of the group is not racist.

2. Isn’t everyone against illegal immigration?

3. He, personally, makes no racist remarks.

4. He’s not going to pull out because it would be playing into the hands of that ‘cuc Daphne’.

  1. el bandido guapo says:

The far more telling part is here:

“Min jghid kliem razzist jew xenofobiku DAK AFFARIH.”

    That’s about it – “AFFARIH”.

What an own goal, reading between the lines.

  2. Matt B says:

    His supreme intelligence amazes me.

  3. La Redoute says:

24 people have left the group since yesterday.

Gavin Gulia, Leo Brincat, Luciano Busuttil, Malcolm Seychell, and Sharon Ellul Bonici aren’t among them.

  4. Grezz says:

So Luciano Busuttil is clearly racist. Shame on him. I wouldn’t like to know that my country is being run by racists.

  5. Grezz says:

U, Luciano, jekk Daphne cuc, inti x’int? Ma nixtieqx naqa’ f’tajjir baxx bhalma jafu jaghmlu nies bhalek, imma nahseb taf x’irrid nghid.

Issa nafu kif jahsibha Luciano. Il-konvivenza konvenjenti.

      X’mar jaghmel Joseph Sqallija?

      X’kellu x’jambih lil Anglu ghal-hamburger?

      F’liema stat finanzjarju qieghed il-Labour?

  7. qahbu says:

….. no outright condemnation of racism – what a surprise.

  8. Adrian says:

And then this Luciano claims to be a Socialist! Socialist my foot.

  9. Lara says:

Being a lawyer Luciano Busuttil should know that most of these illegal immigrants are asylum seekers.

Seeking asylum is a basic right at international law.

The fact that Luciano Busuttil states that he is against illegal immigration is a simplistic argument and makes no sense. seeking asylum is not a contentious argument. It’s a right FULL STOP.

  10. Angus Black says:

“Sakemm dan il-grupp jibqa jismu kif inhu llum….jien nibqa fih”

Typical Labour superficiality and shallowness. The fancy wrapper is more important than the contents of the hidden Pandora’s box!

Unfortunately many voters go for the wrappings and take a chance hoping that the box does not contain lumps of coal.
Remembering Labour’s past will quickly dispense with that notion.

  11. Kenneth Cassar says:

He might as well join Imperium Europa then. After all, there is nothing racist in that name.

  12. Malcolm Gingell says:

What juvenile thinking. It is appalling that a MP (or any other member of civil society for that matter) resorts to this course of action to show his opposition to illegal immigration.

As he chooses to remain part of and consequently supportive of the group for the reasons he puts forward then he should, at the very least, be remarking and arguing against each and every racist comment posted on that same page.

  13. FP says:

This guy thinks that not joining that patently racist group means that one is not against (and therefore in favour of) illegal immigration.

And Luciano’s a lawyer. God help his clients.
