Basic analysis of the signature; a big “F” like the big “Z” of Zorro. 10 empty lines for a signature? And it takes one third of the page. Arrogance.

  2. jae says:

Debono betrayed, and continues to betray, the Nationalist voters who entrusted him with their vote. Same as for most politicians, those who voted for Debono, voted for the PN first and foremost. They voted for him to help and assist the PN in government and certainly not to obstruct.

Debono allows his intense envy dictate his actions and words inside and outside Parliament. In doing so he is guilty of the worse betrayal to the people who voted for him, and also to the national interest. He is also reducing our highest institution into a farce.

Being an old Aloysian, I can safely say that he is an embarrassment to the College, an embarrassment further compounded by his stupid and childish attitude towards his school exam marks. We were taught to be ‘men for others’. Instead, all he talks and writes is about “.. me, … me, …. me”.

No words can adequately describe the extent of my anger for Debono’s betrayal.

Peress illi dejjaq lil kulhadd, u peress li l-ghan ewlieni tieghu ghal xiex dahal fil-politika ma lahqux, u peress li issa zgur m’ghandux cans jilhqu…. mhux ahjar iwarrab?

  4. N.L. says:

Those of us who voted for Austin Gatt haven’t been disappointed, Franco. The same can’t be said of those who voted for you.

Hekk sewwa membru parlamentari mdejjaq ghax mhux kapaci jasal fejn xtaq li jasal, jaghmel vendikazzjoni wahda wara l-ohra mill-partit u minn nies lejali tieghu.

Taf x`hemm tajjeb, Austin jibqa msemmi bhala wiehed mil-muturi tal-partit u Debono bhala traditur li sahansistra jizboq lill dak li kien qasam il-kamra.

  5. Village says:

Using the same yardstick, one may as well call for a referendum to ask the people whether they have confidence in this puerile masochist, and throw him out by popular vote once he is abusing of the PN mandate.

  6. a. attard says:

I think that what is troubling Franco Debono is not the P.N. but Joseph Muscat. Muscat made it to the top of his party whereas Debono hasn’t and does not have a chance in a million of making it. It all boils down to envy.

  7. Walter Cronkite says:

And in the end its all about him and his “sacrifice”.

What the hell would that have to do with anything even if it was true? It’s always about him.

He brings St.Aloysius College, the law profession, the PN, parliament and the country into disrepute.

Sooner or later parliament is going to be dissolved and an election is going to be called.

At that point, as a PN member and voter, I’m going to expect assurances that this Judas (and the other two) can do no further damage from within, BEFORE voting day.

Banning his candidature at the next election is not enough. The chicken f*cker, sorry chicken fancier needs to be expelled and banned for life.

The signature below the motion reminded me of IVF.

That must be because of my one-track mind.

  9. Allamana says:

I think now is the time to examine Franco’s head.

Breaches of Parliamentary privilege, betrayal, voting against a budget which has not yet been drafted.

    This is insulting to Malta.

  10. kram says:

X’serjeta! Lanqas biss indenja ruhu juza fonts Maltin biex irressaq mozzjoni l-Parlament, barra li fl-ewwel ftit linji sibt zball, “sbaljat” minflok zbaljat!! X’faqar ta’ bniedem.

[Daphne – Well, I wouldn’t bother either. Very few people do, especially lawyers.]

  11. Francis Saliba says:

Franco Debono’s flamboyant signature reminds me of the cartoon character Casper the friendly ghost? Yet Franco does not show any friendliness to anybody apart from himself.

  13. Marcel Proust says:

Has Franco Debono ever thought of the repercussions of his actions?

Apart from losing his seat in Parliament and that of a party member come next election, most PN sympathisers to whom I have talked have aired the opinion that they will never now seek his services as a lawyer.

I myself would certainly never dream of hiring him now.

It appears that he has painted himself into a corner and burned all the bridges….with the exception perhaps of that connecting to Italy, where he might opt to exile himself.

What a sad ending for an inflated ego.

  14. Anthony says:

AND I DON’T HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOU, FRANCO. WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE US?
