La tlaqna, tlaqna
Franco, right royally unamused because I pointed out that he’s not writing several of his blog-posts but gets somebody else to do it, has decided to prove to the world that SHE IS A LIAR.
And how did he do this? Well, by threatening over 24 hours to REVEAL HIS WHOLE SCHOOL REPORT. The delay was necessary because he first needed to find somebody to scan it for him on a Saturday.
He said it was because he couldn’t find it – yes right, when we all know by now that he keeps the thing folded in his kartiera.
I lied because I said in a blog-post back in January that I had only spotted one ‘100’ on his school report, which was only partially shown in the press photographs.
SHE LIED, SHE LIED, SHE IS LYING TO YOU AND MANIPULATING YOU AND THIS IT IS EXAMPLE OF HOW MEDIA MANIPULATES.
Marelli, miskin. M’hemmx xi hadd tal-familja li jista’ jaghmel xi haga?
Franco wants you all to know that I lied when I said that he got 100 only in religion in Form IIC, because he also got 100 in civics and communications. AND THERE IS ALSO A 99.

Veru miskin da Franco. Petty and childish.
Congratulations, Franco, for that report which is 25 years old. You will soon be going to have another important test in Parliament. Let us see how you going to fare with this one.
Put your mind at rest my friend…he will have a 100 & the best behavior ever…and you will soon be crying over his results..LOL!!
What a lovely school report. Pity the 100 in Communications had so little carryover into real life. Why doesn’t it surprise me that his lowest score was in English?
[Daphne – English and Maths, the twin tests of intelligence in schools.]
It is interesting that his lowest scores were in English and Math, both subjects that require left brain dominance.
[Daphne – I said as much myself in an earlier comment: that it is interesting to see that his lowest marks are in the two very subjects that are tests of true intelligence rather than rote-learning.]
The left side of the brain is responsible for language (speech but also grammar, vocabulary etc.), critical thinking, reasoning, numbers, and logical, analytical and objective thinking.
This report card explains a lot.
What if you’re excellent at English, and awful at Maths? Stunted intelligence, I know you well.
This is not amusing. Next step for this guy might well involve a rope or a glock.
I used to be proud I went to St. Aloysius.
Jason’s getting a garden named after him. Franco’s going to be really jealous now!
http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20121013/local/peacock-gardens.440883
No he won’t. His Mommy already has one planted in her (his’s?) back yard. She’s called it ‘Francostein’s Cockyard’.
Must be just as dippy as him. Figures, eh?
He seems to have peaked early ……….very, very early!
Pat : Agree with you about peaking early, very early. FD – high achiever sans pareil – should produce his post Form IIC results such those for Form V.
Sixth Form and a full transcript of his Uni law course (not the certificate in Latin handed out on Graduation Day); the publication of the latter would dispel any rumours that he scraped through and that he sweated blood over his thesis which he had to revise several times before his supervisor took pity on him.
A case of premature matriculation, perhaps?
The rector who signed the school report at the time was a priest. The prefect of discipline too, I believe. Does that necessarily mean they were good, practising catholics? No. Neither does getting a couple of “100s” in a school report all of 25 years ago mean anything whatsoever, other than that it probably made his mummy really proud, and look what that’s done to the rest of us now.
Both are not priests anymore.
I know. And both are fathers. I’ll leave it to your imagination as to which came first (not being a priest/becoming a father) in at least one of the cases.
Forsi ghalhekk gab mija fil-lerigin.
Which does actually beg the question.
What happened between 1987 and 2012?
His current communication and civic skills leave much to be desired
Two of the “fathers” on that report have since become fathers of another kind … and Franco is still mentally stuck in Form IIC.
So does his history especially when comparing Dr. Lawrence Gonzi with Hitler
“His current communication and civic skills leave much to be desired”
Not to mention his ‘Good behaviour’ as remarked by the prefect of discipline.
I have a theory – it must be the PN’s fault – everything was going so well for him, then that same year he was in form II c the Golden Age came to a rude and abrupt end – it must have been too much for to handle and he has been in steep decline ever since.
He hitched a ride to the top of the mountain in 1987 and he’s been skiing downhill ever since.
He is about to crash into a tree, he knows it, but he believes he is mightier than the tree. Painful to watch, but there he goes.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later when he proclaims his own death.
Uff kemm kont kattiva Daphne ma’ Franco, miskin.
Imma fil- mathematics ma tantx kien tajjeb u ghadu s’issa, ghax is-somom kif dalwaqt jisparixxi ma hadimhomx tajjeb.
good one!
Was the G of Good Behaviour initially going to be a P
Is that not “Poor Behaviour”?
Probably. Could have been Prat.
Daphne, ieqaf ghax se toqtolni bid-dahq!
Please Franco, being the genius that you are, why don’t you take that result and put it up your a***? A man can’t live without some sort of a sex life.
Who the fuck cares how many 100’s you got, Franco? It’s your attitude that sucks.
Can’t understand how the prefect of discipline wrote down “good behaviour” on the fool’s Form IIC report.
Times change, people change.
I’m sure that they gave him those 100s to keep him and his mother quiet.
What are the odds that he was a ‘kwiet, kwiet u jaghmel minn taht’ sort of boy.
And then there’s the fact that he’s a coward. He’s not cool enough to have been popular, so any bullying he might have tried to do in the playground would have met with some stiff (as in physical) opposition.
He probably got off by dreaming up vengeance strategies against his perceived enemies – talk of arrested maturity.
Let’s scan and upload our Form 2 results. I’ll have to find it first though. If I remember well I got over 90 for most subjects and came second in my form.
Now that I think about it, I think I’ve been wronged by GonziPN. Lanqas fuq kumitat sura ma poggewni. U dejjem minn ta’ quddiem; tifla biezla, dejjem imdorrija nigri.
Imma ma kontx Form 2 C, hux? It’s the C which makes all the difference. So don’t go comparing yourself to Franco.
There is something wrong with the boy.
Can it get no-lay-nerdier than this? I mean you may as well chop off your bollocks.
No doubt he gets a 100 for being a screwball. His skull is full of mash. It’s truly an embarrassment to our parliament. And, he wanted the PM to trust him. What a clown supreme.
Il-habel skappa. Ilna li tlaqna. Intlifna.
If you don’t know where you’re going, Franco, every road will take you there.
Franku, jien nahseb li fir-remarks tar-report ahjar kitbulek OCD, u naf x’jien nghid.
This is a typical nerd’s school report. At that school, you were tops if you did well in English and Maths. The rest was window dressing.
You are giving this buffoon too much attention.
We should be more concerned that in a few months, Malta could have vacuous Joe as Prime Minister, and il-Guy in charge of its coffers.
Focus please.
Here is the really sad part of the story: one of his readers writes “For all of us who got 50s and 60s, Franco will always be regarded as a shining example of what a member of parliament should be.”. Oh, all right then.
What the heck is ‘civics’? Is that even a subject? But then again this is St. Aloysius.
Bootcamp for aspiring men for others.
U veru tlaqna….. hahaha xejn sew dan il-bniedem.
Looking at the 3 subjects that he got a 100 in, I must say that it certainly has not made Franco civil. He is not the greatest of communicators and as to Religion he has failed miserably to turn the other cheek.
Daphne because Franco behaves like a child that does not mean ‘Malta: pajjiz tal-imgienen’.
However, keep it up. He is getting exactly what he deserves. Due to his childish acts he is putting people’s jobs at risk. No company likes instabilities.
Look at the creases on the report, he may very well have been carrying it in his pocket all these years given the way it has been folded.
I must admit that seeing the college report brought back memories yet even I recall myself, and at such a young age, clearly understanding that success in life is not just about the 99s and 100s. And here we have an adult boasting about a form 2 report… and not even the final year report but a mid-yearly.
Although in principle I am against abortion, I have never came across a better argument in favour than this person.
Franco has revealed that he will probably leave for Florence and will write a book about the Oligarchy there.
Is it his choice, to change profession from a “Successful Criminal Lawyer” to become a Haiku poet or book writer? Or is this a result of his own behavior?
It seems, that we will soon get rid of the Fiorentina/Hal Ghaxaq Star! This is very good news!
No it isn’t. I want him to struggle and drown in the cesspool he’s throwing us all into prematurely. Hekk sew! He throws the final hand grenade and buggers off to Florence to lead the quiet life.
Meanwhile, Joseph is still not ready and there is no sign of an electoral programme yet.
I bet he will disclose another of his uncreative ideas this morning.
I am eagerly waiting to know what Labour has in store. The energy and minimum wage ideas are clearly not feasible.
Come on Labour, say what you think about job creation. How are you proposing to encourage more investment, what type of industry will you encourage and support?
Will you revert to the low added value sectors you so typically like and encourage?
According to the latest survey in The Sunday Times, PL still enjoys a twelve per cent lead over the PN. Permit me to address Franco Debono directly.
Franco, this is the same lead those who do not approve of your actions enjoy over those respondents who do approve of your actions.
75% of respondents think that the government should present the Budget. When I argued in the same manner on your blog, you referred to people who argued in the same manner as “the stupidest”.
I wrote a similar comment to this one, on your blog, this morning but like others, but you deleted it.
Franco, I cannot understand how you try to portray yourself as the champion of freedom of expression and balanced broadcasting, when you do the complete opposite.
Franco, you did well in Form 2 but not so well in The Sunday Times opinion poll.
Cannot understand why Franco limited himself to the Form IIC report. What about Forms III, IV and V or was he that good to skip them and proceed, irrespective of age, to Sixth Form?
From today’s The Sunday Times:
“Respondents generally disapproved of the behaviour of Nationalist rebel MPs. The survey showed that 47 per cent do not approve of how Franco Debono is acting as opposed to 36 per cent in favour.”
If Franco truly believes in democracy then there is only one thing to do, resign.
Daphne ghaliex toghod tahli l-hin ma mazetta injorant u pretenzjus? Bniedem bhal dan QATT ma ntqajt f’hajti … fid-dinja.

Keep it up, Daphne.
I hope that this ”bravu tal-klassi” realized how Gonzi is going to outfox him.
X’għalażobbna, Franco?
Yep, that just about sums it up perfectly.
Qeghdin Sew, you just made my day – just could not stop laughing.
I note that these are his Mid-Year exam results.
What about his End-of-Year results?
The two grades I was interested in were Math and English and he sucks at both. That says a lot.
‘come’
What I cannot understand is how he got an 80 in English given that he writes English about as well as a swineherd from New Guinea, and I imagine speaks it with about as much finesse too.
Today’s Sunday Times has an article on ‘Mental Health Issues’.
I gave it a miss. Haven’t they written enough about Franco Debono?
I don’t see why he s so proud. It s only a mid year exam result, where only half the syllabus has been taught/studied. Plus, form two? Does anyone give a damn about form two?
Franco, can you for one second engage the rational part of your brain, you know the one that got you a 100 in religion, and think for a second.
I am sure that, when you were twelve years old and got full marks in a few subjects during your mid year exams you might have thought it was a calling from God to lead the country.
I am sure there were many people who stroked your ego and encouraged the idea, because no one wants to be mean to children.
But now, as a grown man, isn’t it possible that the calling that has lead you through your career so far was just delusion and you didn’t really find your calling in life and that you weren’t all that good at being a politician in the first place?
Perhaps you should take a holiday and do some soul searching and find out who you really are.
I say this because many people have done what you are doing right now, and it all ended with them having too grand an idea of themselves. On one occasion the person thought they were the new Jesus, that all the signs pointed to them being sent from God and people needed to bow down to them.
Do you really want to go down that road?
He still has not got into his head what a fool he has made of himself with this form II report – again referring to it.
And that interview on Bla Agenda was stomach churning.
This guy just does not realize how badly he has messed up his political career. NOTHING will reinstate him – whether it is a change of Leadership in the PN, nor will the PL accept him (even they know he can’t be trusted), nor as an independent.
Dear Franco
You will so be history come next December. It will be a pleasure to see you walk Valletta alone, friendless, with no swagger.
Tigi elezzjoni u kollu jmurlek in-nejk l-ghandek.
For all you are is a lot of hot air performing professional and political suicide, but of the living kind.
Forever you will live with a nation’s mockery. The Nationalists will despise you. The Labourites will just snigger and say how easy it was to use you. Either way, you are toast. Tuna toast.
You don’t have to wait until December for that, interesting to watch the empty space preceeding him.
How dare you, Ms. DCG, lie about the Hon. Franco Debono ( LLD, MP):s Form 2 school report?
If that is not a rampant case of bare-faced media manipulation , I do not know what is.
(lol)
What happens if he misplaces this crumpled sheet of paper? I know there’s mine somewhere at my mother’s, but haven’t a clue where.
The words ‘Communications’ and ‘Headmaster’ seem to have been edited in the image from another. That could explain the delay in publishing it. Photoshop skills are not as common as scanning ones.
He definitely keeps it folded in his wallet and carries it around with him. Otherwise, how did he manage to get it creased in that fashion?
Franco Debono’s antics are more befitting to Mr Bean rather than a politician who thinks he deserves to be leader of his party. If someone can adapt Franco’s tantrums into another comedy by Mr Bean at least our patience for having to put up with this jerk wouldn’t be in vain.

Franco, forget about poetry and haiku.
Stick to what you can do best. Like disloyalty, megalomania, self-absorption, tantrums and, generally, making a fool of yourself.
His behaviour was good, but not excellent like his Arabic.
Excellent in Arabic – hmm – more and more in common with Labour.
OMG please somebody help this guy.
What’s so important about a Form IIc school report, after all?
Why choose that particular report? If I was hard pressed to show a school report, I would have chosen the best one. It takes no Einstein to figure that out. Does this mean that the best Franco could do was in Form IIc?
That being the case, it proves that Franco’s best achievement happened when he was a 14 year old boy and looks like he hasn’t matured one iota since. Only his ego has grown uncontrollably.
http://www.independent.com.mt/news.asp?newsitemid=152016
Great article.
But then again , why does the Government not call it a day NOW instead of wasting time on drawing up a budget bill that will not get approved anyway (for the reasons you mentioned in your article)? The more time passes , the more vindictive, those two twerps are likely to become.
Come on Daffy…show us yours now…
Steady now.
Well said, Chemist. Who the f**k cares about your marks, Franco? Qazziztna, dardartna, marradtna.
You should seriously get your head examined now – you would be a good case study yourself.
Just f**k off.

The fifth district never fails to entertain. I can’t decide between Franco Debono and Karmenu Vella. Surely it must be someone who thinks he can go after those votes.
Well, smack my ass and call me Judy!
I guess I’m an idiot, Daphne, because you had me fooled, you bad, bad girl. Because, you see, he did not get “only” one 100 but THREE! And ..and a 99!?!
Well I guess congrats are in order, DOTTORE…so.. well fu***** done matey.
Oh my god – unbelievable!
For the love of Jesus would you just please shut the hell up?
Daphne – you are not fair – his next 100 is for Arseholishness next November.

Franco,
I hope you still have the occasional moment of lucidity during which you realize just how ridiculous you sound.
Seriously now, do you think that the average Joe feels manipulated and lied to because you got two hundreds (and a 99) and the media reported only one?
No, that average Joe reads your blog post and wonders what else goes through your head.

Ever since Franco has been at his antics, I have been searching for the right word which was on the tip of my tongue to describe him. I found it yesterday: whinger. Like a whinging, whining two year old.
I too got a very good report in form 2, decided to parrot study that year and got good grades. Tried the same in the other forms and didn’t quite make the mark, which is why Franco Debono doesn’t show us his Form 3, 4 and 5 reports. I mean, wow, he had a good year that year, don’t we all at some point.
Now we know why logic is not his ‘forte’. He only scored 73 in mathematics.
Le skuzi mhux Malta kollha tal-imgienen, imma uhud fosthom il-famuz Franco Debono. Dak zgur matrikolat fil-genn.
“Salva id-demokrazija”: lanqas Shakespeare ma kien jasal daqstant. Fenomeno.
Having obtained such excellent results at school, can the Hon. Debono illuminate us why his law course was extended by a further 2 years?
It is really depressing that this person has been chosen to represent other people in parliament, and that he is using this opportunity to cause trouble for all of us, guided by the principle of “hudu go fik”, in a megalomaniac delusion that this enhances his image.
Here is a warning to political parties, and to voters, to be very careful whom they choose to represent them in parliament.
I voted that twerp in, there he was taht it-tinda in Zurrieq sitting alongside Lawrence Gonzi, Joyce Pullicino waxing lyrical about the ezempju tat-tigdid tal-partit Nazzjonalista’, to polite clapping all around.
Grr.
I sincerely cannot fathom this obsession of his.
Exams are only important for a person to move forward, from one grade to another, and eventually choose a career.
They are not an indication of how intelligent that person is, but rather, it can also mean how much a person was able to memorise things. There are people who have even graduated from university, but are still the most ignorant people you have ever met.
On the other hand, there are people out there who barely know how to read and write, but are highly intelligent and know how to build solid arguments.
What gives a clear indication of a person’s intellect is how that person APPLIES what s/he has learned throughout his/her life and not how good s/he did in memorising things.
Showing off academic results is, in the first place, a very unintelligent thing to do. Nobody shows off his certificates (unless requested) to prove that s/he is an intelligent being.
Well said.
His intention in showing off his school report was to show how clever he is and even that he should have been made minister based on merit.
He did the exact opposite. He showed what an idiot he is because nobody with a reasonable level of intelligence would brag about his school report.
He also confirmed that the PM was right in not making him minister because of his distorted sense of priorities (apart from his inexperience, political ineptitude, big-headedness, arrogance, propensity to blackmail etc.)
I am under the impression (just an impression) that he took down the post by the famous “Cambrage” laureate Mark Portelli.
As someone who died recently said about results, certificates etc: Karta tal-incova”.
Why doesn’t he post his university transcript?
He is criticizing everything. Miexjin il-quddiem bl-iskossi. Kull haga li jipprova jgaghmel il-gvern jaraw kif jfixklu. Dak kollox. Kollha hdura u ghira.
Somebody please call the looney farm and ask them to pick Franco up before he hurts himself.
Franco is now asking for the President to intervene because of l-Istrina.
Let’s put like with like with this fool.
Daphne only mentioned one 100 instead of three.
Franco only mentions his success in the 5th district but never mentions the tkaxkira he got on the 3rd district (and that explains why so many id cards were changed to his villa in Marsaxlokk).
Unfair play!
I hope he didn’t do the same during the exams.

BREAKING NEWS: Franco Debono agrees to abstain in the budget vote provided the Minister of Education agrees to have dictionaries re-drafted. Here are some of the new definitions according to Franco:
‘Democracy’; having Debono appointed as minister, (hence his constant whining about the lack of ‘democracy’)
‘Evil Clique’; anyone and everyone who criticizes Debono
‘Oligarchy’; a restricted group of people who did not let Debono get his way
‘Fact’; Debono getting a 100 in three subjects in Form II midyear report (as if anyone cares)
‘Dictatorial’; any decision or action which is not in accordance to Debono’s wishes
‘Parliamentary motion’; obstructing government work
‘Labour party’; organisation in which Debono does not find a single fault
‘Loyalty’; words and action inspired by a ‘hudha go fik’ mentality
‘Meritocracy’; putting Debono on a pedestal and yes, by the way, appointing him as minister
‘Friend and colleague’; someone to be politically stabbed in the back at the first available opportunity
‘ Helen Damato’; Gonzi’s favourite (!?!) and apparently the source of Debono’s endless vindictiveness
