Be sure to watch Bondi+ tonight: 8.40pm on TVM2

Rarely do I flag up a television show, but this time I will. Lou Bondi and his cameraman were the only journalists from Malta to make the 11th-hour (and very complicated, at that late stage) trip to Brussels in time for the noonday press conference about John Dalli’s (forced) resignation.

The programme is all about this subject, with no guests. I’m told that both John Dalli and Silvio Zammit refused to participate or even give comments to camera.

I expect Dalli is trying to negotiate an extended star appearance on Super One, perhaps with his friend Norman Hamilton, while Joseph Muscat tries to work out the pros and cons of using him further.

Please Daphne attach the link after the programme is over as we can’t stream TVM2. I am told the Di-VE.com site is in “negotiations” whatever it means.

[Daphne – You can get it on the TVM site.]

How sweet, you and Lou in tandem.

[Daphne – I will never understand the mind of a Labour voter. Let’s see now. Maltese EU Commissioner is forced to resign in major scandal. Newspaper columnist and blogger says to herself “Better not write about it, because TV show host is bound to cover same, leading mentally deficient Labour voter called Richard Borg to think we are in a conspiracy.”]

    • Richard Borg says:

How sweet of you, calling me mentally deficient :) x

[Daphne – Well, you must be, with reasoning like that. Or let’s just say intellectually challenged.]

My reasoning was that you put up a post telling everyone to watch Bondi+, even though you do not usually ‘flag’ television shows.

“I’m told that both John Dalli and Silvio Zammit refused to participate”.

[Daphne – Of course I knew it. I asked, and was told. Perfectly normal.]

You knew this and also knew that John Dalli did not actually go to the police commissioner (how? Since Lou called the Police, probably that same morning, he was the only one which knew that John Dalli did not go to the police)

[Daphne – I heard about it on the programme, like everybody else who watched it. You will notice that the post in question was written and uploaded after the show, not before. And even if I knew the information before the show, bear in mind that I am not a Labour voter, hence I would have known to wait until afterwards to upload it.]

You wanted everyone to be sure to watch the programme in order for you to clearly show that John Dalli is a liar and no form of him negating the allegations made by Swedish match should be taken seriously.

You would give Frued’s nephew a run for his money with your PR.

[Daphne – I no longer work in PR and haven’t done so for years. I wanted as many people as possible to watch the show because I am fed up of how crooks get a free run in this place, with people like you trying to justify the unjustifiable. If John Dalli’s standards are yours, that’s your problem. Deal with it.]
