Mind if I use your blog as Franco didn’t post my comment below, and I know he and all his readers read your blog too?

    Franco

My goodness, you have really lost it.

Joseph Calleja is more then you can ever be in a thousand lifetimes.

You’re an MP? Big frigging deal, is that the best you could do? Wow, I’m impressed.

Get used to it, Franco – your days in (Maltese) public life are numbered. D-Day i.e. the day you slip back into back into an unknown with no leverage is FAST approaching.

Joseph Calleja will continue to be known around the world.

    • Frank says:

Franco Debono suffers unbridled ambition over which he has no control, hence the ‘raddiena tag-giggifogu’ behaviour.

I am quite distressed by the fact that someone as abjectly stupid and dangerous as this man has got to be a legislator and have a hand, because of his problems, in disturbing the peace of public and political life.

  2. Neil Dent says:

Goosebumps. I wonder if anyone ever felt that sensation listening to one of Dr. Debono’s ‘bir-rispett kollu’ monologues on Super One, or his random rants in parliament.

    Eddy Privitera, maybe?

  3. Brian says:

Franco Debono’s favourite music is his own amplified voice of discontent, together with his malicious and psychotic behaviour.

  4. Bob says:

Was Franco ever interviewed by the BBC? This could be an opportunity for him. He can demand David Cameron’s school report, and the Queen’s too, for good measure.

  5. gp says:

What’s with the Jimmy Saville outfit?

  6. Nico says:

I know that im off subject, but I just can’t understand how the Labour Party can get away without any opposition when they tell us that they will publish their proposals when the PN publish theirs.

This is so childish and amateurish.

I wonder why they are so far ahead in the polls when we have no idea whether they even have anything to propose except water and electricity bills.

  7. Lomax says:

Daphne, you’re hilarious. I mean, the title of this post and the clips when taken in the context of Franco’s blog, are, quite frankly, nothing short of hilarious.

He is REALLY gone this time (credit: Basil Fawlty when referring to the Major in one of the episodes).

  8. Min Weber says:

Gosh – that last song in the second video gave me goose bumps.

  9. Natalie Mallett says:

Franco, minn jaf kemm tixtieq kieku jivvutawlek nies daqs kemm hemm f’dik is-sala.

Ieqaf ghid il-hmerijiet. Silence is golden kif ghidt int u lilna hallina nisimghu u napprezzaw lil bravu Joseph Calleja. Aktar ma tparla aktar taqa ghac-cajt ja buffu supperv u njurant, issa aktar milli meta kont form 2C.

  10. allamana says:

The big-shot lawyer burned out at Form 2C.

  11. Ghoxrin Punt says:

Thank you Dephne, I have just spent a lovely evening listening to his gorgeous voice. It is so refreshing to see someone making Malta proud, as opposed to being an embarrassment to us

  12. sos says:

I am sure that by now everyone has noticed that Franco’s antagonism and envy are aimed at persons with better qualities than his: Lawrence Gonzi, Austin Gatt, Richard Cachia Caruana, Carm Mifsud Bonnici, and now Joseph Calleja.

Debono – well – an LL.D – not much of an achievement, and a good report when he was at school.

I am now looking forward to hearing the words “who is (or was) Franco Debono”? after the next elections.

  13. Turnip says:

Joseph Calleja opens his mouth and talent comes out and the crowd stands and applauses and chants his name.

Franco Debono opens his mouth and we run for cover.

  14. yan says:

    Ghal kulhadd ghajjur dan il-bniedem?

  15. sos says:

Why do some people show (with emphases) their envy? I cannot understand how they never learn the lessons of life.

  16. PG says:

How very emotional. Franco, dig a hole.

  17. sos says:

PG – he has already dug the hole – he will soon jump into it.
