What a loser

Franco Debono, quoted in Malta Today:
When the budget gets stuck, all measures and details will be forgotten and deemed irrelevant because headlines will be dominated by the government’s failure to get the budget approved,” the MP said.
Meanwhile, the UK edition of The Huffington Post reports on something that hasn’t yet occurred to Debono. European Council President Herman van Rompuy has tweeted a haiku. “In the wake of his failure to persuade EU leaders to agree to a budget, the former Belgian prime minister has expressed his mood in haiku poetry,” it says.

Joseph begs to differ, why, he even vouches to stick to the budget as a matter of stability.
Sweet, now that he’s got the perfect alibi NOT to present any manifesto until after election. If ever. What we’ll have is Labour trying its hand at being the PN.
I think Franco should think this through and see what he’s doing to this country’s immediate future.
I know it’s unrelated to the above but I’m sure this is worth your attention. What a fine Maltese export.

What a loser….. and now we have a new alliance …. a new coalition. It is the FRANCO / PL coalition
I think that Debono, so filled with self-praise is looking forward to reading the newspaper headlines about how he has toppled the government – he will be pleased to see his name in all newspapers and on all blogs.
And what about that Swedish MEP? She didn’t sound very well-informed and not at all convincing. What is said about the lack of theoretical and philosophical underpinning of the promotion of new human rights is very much well said to her case.
Should Franco Debono be the person responsible for blocking the budget, he will be left with two things in his hands. In one hand he will have his Form II school report and in the other hand he will have his disgrace.
Oh my goodness. How dare the European Council President steal an idea from Franco Debono’s mind?
You next commentary should probably be titled “What an asshole”

“Dr Pullicino Orlando cut the cake under the glare of press and television cameras.”
And yet, The Times did not publish a picture of Jeffrey’s chocolate cake. Tsk Tsk.
[Daphne – Tghid ghamlitulu Mrs Pullicino Orlando II? Marelli, these chavs. They’re just too much.]
And we do not know if he had 49 candles, whether he expressed a wish (“Kemm nixtieq nara lil Joseph Muscat bhala Prim Ministru”), and whether they all sang “Heppi bert-dej tu ju, heppi bert-dej tu ju…heppi bert-dejjjjj tu Gaffri…”

Just to keep you amused, this should be Franco’s Haiku poem for today.

Nodded to a few people
And Gahan smiled at me.
What a small world .
Yes Franco, I’m sure that all those who would have benefitted from a tax reduction won’t mind. You are the centre of the universe and for you we’ll do anything.
“When the budget gets stuck, all measures and details will be forgotten and deemed irrelevant because headlines will be dominated by the government’s failure to get the budget approved,” the MP said.”
“When the election gets called, all of il-Baggio’s shenanigans, motions and form 2c reports will be forgotten and deemed irrelevant because headlines will be dominated by Labour’s ability to seize power,” ciccio said.
Flash news: EU budget negotiations will be concluded at the start of the 2013 spring in March, where Joseph Muscat will participate as the “EU’s youngest Prime Minister.”
