   That rude, stupid and sick Franco just walked in front of the camera while the prime minister is giving his speech.

   Who the heck does the twerp think he is? Honestly, next time I’m in Valletta I will seek him out and thump him one with my handbag.

     These are the times when I wish it was not such a cultural taboo for a man to have a handbag.

     [Daphne – It is no longer taboo. A shoulder-bag, though, not a handbag. You can get some really beautiful ones – brown leather always looks better than black, though.]

       What taboo ?

       When I travel abroad me and my brown leather shoulder-bag are inseparable.

       It takes my passport, tickets, phablet, compact Canon, 10X25 Leica and myriads of odds and ends.

       It is veritably my best friend.
