An excellent answer to anti-EU-membership Joseph’s ‘Malta Taghna Lkoll’
“It’s not only Malta that is yours, but all of Europe and the rest of the world” – Lawrence Gonzi, to young Maltese people
He said that the continuous heavy investment in schools, MCAST, training programmes and the university means young people now have the tools needed to work in specialised sectors, not least emerging sectors like information technology IT and the creative industries.
He pointed out that it is because of the Nationalist Party’s determination to join the European Union, in the face of harsh and relentless opposition from the Labour Party and Joseph Muscat, that Malta saw an increase in well-paid and interesting jobs in pharmaceuticals, communications, ICT, aviation, gaming and so much more.
“When Malta joined the eurozone, it made investment in Malta, by international companies, even more attractive,” he said.

Why can’t the PN put this on a billboard?
This is what we know of Labour policy so far.
Civil unions, to be willed by God.
The Cunning Plan on Electricity.
That it’s OK from now on to break EU law or bypass regulations, because they never wanted to join the EU anyway.
Good going.
Konrad Mizzi, on Xarabank. saw fit yesterday to refer to road-building practices in – JAPAN, of all places.
In Japan they use nuclear energy as well.
Is he planning on a nuclear reactor as plan B, if his present plan A is given the thumbs down?
That would fit right in with Muscat’s promise a few years ago to ‘create an earthquake’.
Issa jrid li mhux inkunu parti, imma nkunu l-ewwel fl-Ewropa! X’ ipokrezija!

Indeed, I read that article on the ‘In-Nazzjon’ this morning. As usual Lawrence Gonzi was remarkable. In this day and age, Joseph Muscat’s slogan is so invalid and insular.
On yesterday’s Xarabank, Konrad Mizzi said that there are no records of LNG accidents. He invited us to check.
I checked and the fiirst document that I opned contained a long list of accidents, which is published form the California State Lands Commission and not just from a ‘normal person’ or interested group:

What’s so wrong in a little tampering with the truth (not so little actually) when it is a matter of “now is the time to rush to the aid of the party” in its hour of need?
Seeking stability on oil and gas:
“Treat oil and gas price instability as a high-level risk management consideration.”

Is this the same chap now assuring us of price stability for the next 10 years?
This afternoon Joseph Muscat placed wreaths on several monuments including the Independence monument according to timesofmalta.com: http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20130112/elections-news/companies-talk-to-labour-about-energy-plans.45294
What a hypocrite.
How can we forget the years when we could not celebrate Independence day during Labour’s supposedly Golden Years?
Does he think that because he’s playing charades we’re going to trust him? No way.
Hear, hear.
I really wish that somebody could dig up footage of the last TVM debate between Alfred Sant and Eddie Fenech Adami immediately prior to the EU referendum, when the latter was heckled on air by Joseph Muscat (who was then a Television reporter) right until his airtime ended.
That’s how much Labour ever wanted us to be art of the European Union.
