MALTA TAGHNA LKOLL UPDATE (or how slogans don’t change people and sentiments)

Published: January 12, 2013 at 6:37pm

So yesterday I uploaded that post about Police Sergeant Robert Fava, the Laburist ahdar gej minn familja ta’ Mintoffjana hodor mil-Lazy Corner li hadu dar Ta’ Giorni fi zmien Mintoff (the ‘ahdar’ is crucial here, because not all Labour supporters are that way).

He’s the one who took that initial report against me and then spoke to L-Orizzont, and whose Facebook page was plastered (until he took it down yesterday), with fan sites for Joseph Muscat, Super One and Labour.

Should police officers be allowed to do that kind of thing? Of course not. It’s about time somebody laid down the law, or made the law if it doesn’t exist already.

Today, his brother Mario Fava, a Labour councillor on the Swieqi local council, decided to express his love for me on Facebook, without mentioning my name, of course, because they can’t bring themselves to do so.

Beneath a cover picture of a Labour billboard with the slogan MALTA TAGHNA LKOLL, he called me:

Ir-rifjut tan-natura u tal-umanita’
hmieg tan-nemus (ghax hekk jixraqlek li tissejjah)
awrinar tal-fniek

and then issued an invitation:

jekk ghandek xi sura ta’ bniedem, meta trid, int Jew xi hadd mill-familja moqzieza tieghek, ejjew sibuni Wicc imbwicc…. Mill-bqija tista’ tikteb li z-z*** trid mikrobu u hmieg!!

Imbasta libes sjut u ngravata, xtara karozza, ghandu job ‘pulit’ u qieghed kunsillier. Il-vera tal-Lazy Corner baqa. U Mintoffjan ahdar ukoll.

MALTA TAGHNA LKOLL. As Father Christmas might say: Ho Ho Ho.

    Mario Fava; another yellow coward.

  2. Aunt Hetty says:

Thank God for Mr Fava and others of his ilk who are currently monopolizing all the local forums and comments-boards.

He is yet another reminder of the true face of the Neo-Mintoffian Labour Movement.

These people have changed little from the Glorious Socialist Era days when unarmed women, children, and old men ended up gassed, beaten, bitten or shot at just for exercising their legitimate right to attend public meetings of the opposing political parties or to celeberate the anniversary of Independence day.

They have not yet won the election but feel confident enough to start threatening their perceived enemy.

Min ma hux maghna kontra taghna hux?

Once a moron always a moron, and it obviously runs in the family.

Malta for all, but some are more entitled to than others.

    Truly Orwellian.

One of his Facebook Friends is a Ford Escort Mk1.

  6. La Redoute says:

Mario Fava is a branch manager at CGSL. Does his employer know what sort of person’s on their books?

  7. T says:

What a gentleman. I hope his employer sees this.

  8. Robert mis-swieqi says:

Huda go fik, ja Marju. Issa ejja ghall vot tieghi jewilla. Prosit hej, mela ma’ mara taghmila tal-bravu, ja bicca bully.

Insomma kif jghidu, minn Laburist ahdar x’tistenna. Jaqq.

What has the pro-Labour, Sharia-loving community up at Corradino heights have to say about this?

As they say, min jitwieled kwadru ma jmutx tond.

  11. Anthony Briffa says:

This should make good reading for the switchers.

    • TinaB says:

The switchers are too busy defending Joseph and their brilliant energy plan, on certain social networks, to notice.

Some cannot contain their excitement at how “good” (sigh) Konrad Mizzi is, mamma mia.

  12. Justin Beefer says:

The Board of Governance of the local councils should take a note. Is the behaviour of this local councillor violating the Code of Ethics for Local Government?

  13. Min Jaf says:

Robert and Mario Fava – the true face and spirit of the Partit Laburista. The likes of them can be let loose to once again cause havoc as from 10th March by means of your vote.

  14. TinaB says:

    Progressive, indeed.

You need anger management, Mr Fava. Seek help.

  15. pm says:

I love the “went to high school”. Can he tell us which is the highest school in Malta since I believe that most have a ground floor, first and second floor. So that must rate as a second floor.

  16. ciccio says:

Nghid ghalija, niddejjaq niltaqa’ “Wicc imbwicc…. ” ma’ min, kif jghid il-Malti, ikollu wiccu w s*rmu wiehed.

  17. Futur Imcajpar says:

I pity anyone working under his supervision, who dares not agree with him. And these people accuse others of being arrogant. Vera ghandhow wicchom infurrat.

  18. Village says:

Labour will not change. It remains violent in nature. This trait has been cunningly subdued and camouflaged by the leaders and maliciously kept in hibernation. Once the election is over I claim it will reemerge and explode.

There are signs that some Labour elements are impatient and eager to unleash their true sentiments.

  19. Riya says:

Minn bniedem tal-Lazy Corner u Mintoffjan ma’ tistennix ahjar. Il-Mintoffjani dejjem nies psatas u vjolenti kienu ghax anke Mintoff kellu karatru baxx u pastas u kien jinkorragoxxi lil Mintoffjani biex ibezghu u jagredixxu lil kull min ma’ jaqbilx maghhom sahansitra bi vjolenza.

U issa ghandna lil Joseph Muscat li se jimxi wara l’istess passi ta’ Mintoff. Allura ma’ nistax nifhem kif jghidu li nbidlu dawn in-nies. Minn dan Mario Fava johrog car li l-Labour f’dik li hija hdura u mentalita’ mar ghal ghar. Dawn ma’ jinbiddlu qatt.
