Is it just me, or is there something a little bit sinister about these Labour Daleks?

Exterminate, exterminate ……
They are probably running something like these spy camera apps

These ‘phones’ are the physical equivalent of spam. The ‘no response’ email message sent out a minute after midnight was spam. I would be tempted to type a message back to Joseph on one of those ‘phones’. It’s way more civilised than a good kicking.
My daughter was tempted to do it on the ones near the university, but I told her to just ignore them.
Can you imagine if the PN had put something like that in Pjazza Gavinu Gulia back in the good old days?
In those days, it would have been this model.

Yes, it is a Yugo.
If the PN did something like these “daleks”, the MLP would consider them as a provocation. They have not changed.
Excuse me. You mean The Golden Years.
Well even Churchill trusted them during the war, and it didn’t end up well.. just like we should not trust Labour..

You’ve got it wrong. Those things are strategically placed so that Joseph can use them as a pedestal when he addresses the faithful.
I don’t know about sinister, but they are ridiculous – that’s for sure.
Emergency teleprompters?
My favourite part is the ‘load earlier messages’ button. Press that on his real life iPhone and we will be flooded with anti-EU propaganda.
Comment of the night.
I just walked by one on the Sliema front – it was out of charge.
‘Take me to your leader – he called me and asked for help up the steps to Castille.’
It bears an uncanny resemblance to the monolith in Arthur C. Clarke’s book which was the basis for Kubrik’s film ‘2001 – A Space Odessy’.
Ironically, the monolith was meant to encourage the development of intelligent life: http://www.djibnet.com/photo/mirahorian/monolith-arthur-c-clarke-2001-space-odyssey-2072975741.html
When PN put up a digital news information board back in the Golden Years of the MLP, they were forced to shut it down.
Il-Guy Karmenu Vella, AST Alex Sceberras Trigona, Joe Debono Grech, Charles Mangion, Marie Louise Coleiro, then in oppressive and illegitimate government, are still the driving forces in Joseph Muscat’s so-called Muviment Gdid, JosephMuscat.com.
Given the reins of power, they are set to continue where they left off.
The PL/MLP slogan is Malta Taghna Lkoll. But the message is Malta Terga Tkun Kollha Taghna.
A return to the financial and moral bankruptcy that characterised the 70s and the early 80s under the MLP regime.
Nixtieq inkun naf x’se jigri fil-karnival f’dik ir-rassa.
Jekk iwegga’ xi hadd maghhom x’naghmlu?
Very good point.
They’ll put one at the Auberge de Castille soon.
After the election they’ll put a star in the East to guide all nations to where the new leader is.
We’re doomed.
No, but a ginger gnome will be there come March 9th.
Don’t be so sure.
I wish such comments are not repeated ad infinitum turning them into self-fulfilling prophesies.
Reverse psychology only works for a while, and after that it backfires.
Singing joyously….We are the robots?
There’s one there already.
Valletta – a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen, and invaded by Labour plebeians and their assorted giant iPhones.
Actually, they look like Kurt Farrugia – short, squat, ubiquitous, try-hard cool (but not cool at all) and with nothing much to say.
Oh, and proud to be Labour, which they’d better be, because they’re not much else.
Someone should dress them up in oversized light pink shirts for the full deal Kurt Farrugia experience.
This reminds me of a hilarious situation in the 1992 election.
A friend was at the counting hall supervising the arrival of some ballot boxes, and in the boredom while waiting for the last boxes to arrive from Gozo, he removed the battery pack of his large mobile phone and started “scanning” the sealed boxes and loudly telling a colleague the number of PN and MLP votes in each box.
Sure enough when the result was finally announced, and KMB was still reeling from the shock that PN had won with a 13,000 vote majority, he declared fraudulent practices that the PN had some advanced equipment supplied by the Americans which cancelled out Labour votes.
The origin of this statement was this little prank.
I was walking by one the other day, and wondered what messages would come up if I clicked on the Load Earlier Messages button.
Poor tourists in trying to deduce what these blasensagni are.
At least the Daleks were kind enough to offer some tea seriously: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q43cvAGBk5M ). I doubt Labour would be so kind.
Well Joseph does look a lot like Davros. Especially with that hair.
These Labour teen wannabe cool gadgets have become so terribly irritating & pathetic that the’re scaring more & more young people away from Labour.
A Dalek looks like a shuttlecock on wheels, not an iPhone on a rod.
Victoria Dei Gra Britt Regina Fid Def Ind Imp doesn’t seem to be amused.
Bless her.
This cracked me up, Daphne. It reminds me of the artwork for the album Presence by Led Zeppelin with the obelisk like object appearing in all kinds of places.
