    • d_riddler says:

It has been upgraded to make it sound more like the PN one, instead of a group of screaming harridans like the old one.

It is all in line with the new policy to make the MLP more like the PN. Even the name is changed in the same way, when it is used, that is.

I remember visiting Malta in the heyday of the “Golden Years™” in the 1970s and it truly was “Malta kollha taghna” as far as Labour was concerned, including customs officials with their hand out for a bribe.

It was a barren Socialist paradise that reminded me of Castro’s Cuba mixed with a little bit of Albanian-style empty-pantry backwardness.

Punishing Jesuit socialism from their liberation theology handbook opened to the bad cop chapter from the good cop versus bad cop routine with the masses taking the brunt of this sad and overplayed joke.

According to Mario Philip Azzopardi’s filmography, his first film was Gagga (1971). When Mintoff’s ‘gagga’ became unbearable, he emigrated to Canada.

Now that he seems to be preparing for a homecoming thanks to Joseph, his last film will be State of Perdition.
