This is history repeating itself: in 1996 Malta voted Labour, ‘crucifying’, so to speak, Eddie Fenech Adami.

After just twenty two months people are giving Eddie a hero’s welcome with this ‘hosanna’.

[Daphne – No. This is the 2003 ‘EU general election.]

Where and when was the road to Damascus conversion for Joseph?

Back in 1972 or thereabouts, Dom Mintoff was hospitalized after what was reported as a bad fall from a horse.

Some of us did not believe that at all – but that is beside the point today.

That incident did not have the results you indicate, however, as Dom was still at his old tricks after being discharged from St Luke’s.

Here is an updated version of Joseph Muscat’s advice above.

“Elezzjoni Generali 9 ta’ Marzu 2013.

    X’Ghandek Taghmel.

Joseph Muscat Prim Ministru. Ivvota LE.”

The Labour lot would choke watching this video.

The PL did their best did their best to keep Malta out of the EU and in the Middle Ages.

  7. H.P. Baxxter says:

    Indeed. A fitting epitaph.

    EUROPEAN MALTA

    2004 – 2013

“It was good while it lasted.”

  8. AG says:

This video brought back so many memories. I was there in that crowd. What a significant moment in Malta’s history.

Malta as a nation should be thankful for having had Eddie Fenech Adami as its leader.
