  1. canon says:

The man looks clumsy to me.

    • Harry Purdie says:

Think they modelled their giant iPhones on him.

Just had a terrible thought: I pictured him in a bathing suit.

  2. jack says:

The grace of a three-legged rhino.

  3. silvio says:

    What’s this a beauty contest?

If it was so we would be all voting for Lydia and Marlene.

  4. Tinnat says:

In the first clip, did they handpick short people?

  5. Clifford Galea says:

Rajtuh kif poggieh b’mod dispreggativ il-fjuri quddiem il-monument tal-indipendenza? Body language speaks way tooooo loud.

    • just me says:

Yes. And he could have put it the correct way up instead of just let it lie on its back.

It just shows that his intentions are not genuine. All he wants is to gain votes. He has no real respect for the Independence Malta gained thanks to a Nationalist government.

Same about Eddie Fenech Adami. I don’t believe that he has any real admiration or respect for this great leader. He praised him simply to gain the votes of certain people.
I just hope that people are intelligent enough and not so gullible to believe him. I really hope so.

    • Min Jaf says:

U appropjatament girlanda tal-mejtin pogga fuq il-monument tal-Independenza. Shape of things to come taht govern immexxi minn Joseph Muscat u rracanc left-overs tal-MLP.

Apparti minn kollox, wiehed ma jieqafx b’tislima b’saqajh mbieghdin. Ahjar jaghmel krexkors ta’ kif ghandhu jigib ruhu qabel ma jkompli jizzattat biex immexxi l-pajjiz.

      • Rita Camilleri says:

He is not even capable of placing the wreath the right way up, so can you imagine how is going to run the country. Poor Malta and poor us.

  6. Turnip says:

Please. I’m still not dead. Shoot me again.

  7. Joe Farrugia says:

What is he doing after each laying, especially at the Independence monument, saying a short prayer or asking forgiveness for his lack of respect?

  8. Adam James says:

If these people think Joseph Muscat is handsome, I’m really not surprised that their political views are so myopic.

  9. vanni says:

In the opening still of the video, his stance seems to show him taking a piss, but by the end of the video, he most certainly is.

    • Min Jaf says:

Taking THE piss, you mean. That was a meaningless exercise, on a par with his kissing Mintoff’s coffin, with the sole objective of free media publicity for the neo Malta Labour Party that Joseph Muscat supposedly leads.

  10. Oops says:

I love his wreath-laying style, or was he just throwing them?

Here is a very basic link to the laying of wreaths which is even available on ehow, let alone what is supposed to be official protocol. Mhux xorta itfa hemm. Doesn’t bode well.

  11. Jozef says:

Nope, he won’t hit the ground running.

  12. Paul Bonnici says:

He placed it upside down at the Independence monument.

I like his gait. He walks like a fat woman with a big bum.

  13. Neil Dent says:

    X’patata rabba, mbierek Alla!

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

Hux veru kemm hu ohxon? Kif jista’ jkun politician, li qed jitlob l-approvazzjoni taghna, ma jiehux hsieb is-sahha tieghu? Jekk m’ghandekx dixxiplina fuq gismel stess, kif jista’ jkollok id-dixxiplina fuq pajjiz?

      LE GHALL-POLITICI OVERWEIGHT.

Xbajna naqghu ghan-nejk fuq ix-xena globali.

      • Neil Dent says:

As long as you don’t take out the vertically challenged ones too, otherwise parliament would be a sparsely populated wilderness.

      • Paul Bonnici says:

        H.P. Baxxter

This also applies to policemen in Malta.

      • silvio says:

        Wrong again.

One of our top politicians was called Il-Gross. the nickname speaks for itself.

        Mussolini was quite chubby.

        Churchill wasn’t slim either.

Do they all have to look like Mr. Humphrey to make good politicians?

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

Oh come one. That was eighty years ago. This is the 21st century. Politicians cannot talk down to us while they get fatter and uglier.

        Il-Gross indeed.

I would never vote for anyone who’s visibly overweight. And don’t tell me it’s glandular.

      • Neil Dent says:

Silvio jahasra, our comments were just a bit of comic relief in these morose days of impending doom and gloom (i.e. your lot coming to power).

Lighten up! Your time has finally come! (Let’s forget about ’96-’98, you know you want to).

Fat (Joey Cyprus) or emaciated (Cha’lie DNA), who gives a crap!?

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

Erm, I’m dead serious. One of Simon Busuttil positive points is that he’s the right weight. And he takes a daily run, which is more than can be said for many of our politicians.

  14. Miss O'Brien says:

Veru kaz ta’ wiccu u sormu xorta

  15. Pro says:

Trousers have a funny fit on this guy.

  16. Matthew says:

I don’t think this is related to lack of respect.

It’s just that Joseph Muscat is too fat and clumsy to climb those steps and lay the wreaths properly.

Someone ate all the pies, and all the steaks too.

And there I was thinking that Malta is the country of the slim thanks to a forced diet of soppa ta’ l-armla everyday.

  17. Sokrate says:

Jirringrazzja ‘l Alla li ma qasamx il-qalziet minn wara meta qaghad jixxabbat.

  18. Peter Mallia says:

Gesu tal-hniena x’figolla se ndahhlu Kastilja.
