A dorky Joseph Muscat (far left) listening admiringly to his boss Sant . No wonder poor Simone got confused.

Brian Hansford did the same yesterday morning in Paola.
Joseph went missing an hour later, There’s memorable footage of Calvagna asking Michelle how come Joseph didn’t turn up.
Following her methodical ‘orraaajt, kif inti’s.
This can be construed in two ways – either she doesn’t recognise Muscat to be her Great Leader or that she still has the hots for Alfred Sant.
A big ‘Fred’ian slip.
But it is good to see that even his people know that he is like his predecessor.
Was il-ginger laughing because of Simone’s mistake, or was he making fun of his predecessor? Top prize for the correct answer!
No, he was panicking that people a) still remember Sant, b) they equate Sant with greatness, and c) that he can’t erase the people’s memory that Muscat was Sant’s poodle.
That’s a nervous, mirthless laugh. He was clearly annoyed.
