Just amazing isn’t it? On seeing this picture all members of my family have decided to vote PN. How dare does Joseph Muscat use his foot during a speech? And we thought it was spontaneous? A scandal if ever there was one, way beyond a few million euros of commissions! Why doesn’t the PN media make a meal of this? And the so-called independent media? Especially that Sansone of The Times.

[Daphne – Come on ‘Albert’, you haven’t told us yet what it is you do at the European Commission. Tsk tsk. You voted against, vote Labour, then rushed off to reap the benefits. Imbasta titkellem. Ipokrita u faccjol.]

    • Antoine Vella says:

Albert, if you will still vote for Labour knowing that they have covered up cocaine trafficking, I don’t expect you to be unduly concerned that our next PM is incapable of learning a short speech without relying on a prompter.

    • Jozef says:

Will someone please explain what’s wrong, immoral and scandalous with a percentage commission on services and goods procured, delivered or given via a regular contract?

    • Francis Saliba MD says:

Joseph Muscat must “use his foot during a speech” otherwise how could he continue to put his foot in it every time he opens his mouth?

      • observer says:

A classic example of a mixed metaphor, if I remember correctly from my school days. “Every time he opens his mouth, he puts his foot in it”

      • ciccio says:

Looks like he is pushing on the gas pedal.

Problem is he doesn’t have a brake pedal.

  2. john says:

I notice he’s standing on a blokka bajda.

They didn’t throw it away after all.

  3. Min Jaf says:

The Muscat approach to politics was laid bare in Michelle’s interview in The Sunday Times yesterday. She tells her children that the country has to have only ‘one boss’. Joseph Muscat’s ambition is simply to wield power.

Nothing about administering properly and competently to the needs of the country and it people.

The way Joseph Muscat wields power was illustrated by his summary axing of Anglu Farrugia as Deputy Leader, just one day after Joseph Muscat having publicly kissed and congratulated Anglu’s mother on the performance of her son.

    • Sandra says:

The bit about doing her chores during the night prompts me to tell her that she would benefit from the night tariffs when Malta gets connected to Sicily. I would humbly offer to buy her a timer or an alarm should she need one.

  4. ciccio says:

Controlling his crowds with his foot, not with his brains.

    Sign of things to come.

  5. Peter Grech says:

Qisa hey Joseph hehe..would have been better if it was an eject pedal for all his cabinet

  6. The chemist says:

Nobody throws away a ‘blokka bajda’ unless there’s the drug squad at their door. Depending on purity, you’re talking about €30,000 a kilo.

    • Francis Saliba MD says:

I wouldn’t bet that the “blokka bajda” was thrown away and not simply transferred from one hiding place to another. As you say 30000 euro per Kilo is a lot of money.

  7. Tinnat says:

He WANTS everyone to know he uses that teleprompter, because it earns him respect from his supporters. ” Mhux biss gustuz u jaf jilbes, imma, ara naqra, jaf JAQRA wkoll!’

  8. Jozef says:

    He’s pimped the podium.

  9. Malti says:

Joseph Muscat has dressed up as a lamb, while underneath he is a very dangerous wolf.

  10. Clayton Azzopardi says:

Wow, you guys are ridiculous. On this page we’re seriously commenting on the fact that Joseph is using a teleprompter? What’s the problem? So he prepared a speech and had to read it; what’s the big deal… this is not a memory contest.

  11. As far as I am aware prompters are indispensible to second rate actors who are not sure of their lines.
