The man hundreds of thousands of French citizens are regretting putting in power, already after less than a year, has endorsed Joseph Muscat.

Way to go, Joseph.

Now try getting an endorsement from the millions of unemployed people in France.

    I really hope not.

The timesofmalta.com comment boards are hilarious. I’ve noticed that, when a political story breaks on there we first see a number of ‘genuine’ people writing in to comment. Not an elve in sight until they manage to regroup, work out an attack strategy, and get to posting.

Then the boards fill up with all of the current MLP GonziPN bashing cliches. The Hollande-Muscat story is currently receiving comments heavily criticizing such an endorsement, but now just you wait and see, once the Mile End machine gets started!

    • WhoamI? says:

Brilliant observation! I noticed it as well, but wasn’t sure where the elfffs are hiding.

    • Giov.DeMartino says:

Most of the comments I post rarely see the light of day.

And, they’re off – gone 7pm and the elves (those who are staying in instead of going to Hal Far) have started their keyboard retaliation.

And if that is not enough:

He got who is described as being the most corrupt politician in British history to endorse him as well:

October surprise! There’s still hope that enough people will see the light.

  5. MojoMalti says:

It only took the French 3 months to regret Hollande.

  7. kram says:

Do the people endorsing Muscat know that they’re endorsing a potential government who will have amongst it those who 25 years ago approved of arming their own supporters, stifled freedom of speech, beat up the opposition even in parliament, brought the country to its knees, and so much worse?

  8. MojoMalti says:

    Just two days ago:

PARIS, March 5 (Reuters) – Tens of thousands of protesters marched in towns across France on Tuesday against plans to allow companies to cut workers’ hours during economic downturns – a policy central to President Francois Hollande’s jobs and growth strategy.

  9. Dan says:

An endorsement from President Hollande can only create embarrassement. I would actually hide it not boast about it.

If there was ever a shadow of doubt that one should not vote for Muscat – it is this.

Had it been an endorsement by Merkel, then it’s a different story, of course. Hollande might have ulterior motives for this endorsement. Maybe Hollande needs Malta to go down with the rest to stop France being humiliated and compared to the economic survival that Gonzi has secured for Malta.

Hollande is jealous of Gonzi’s Malta and that is why he is encouraging us to vote Muscat. 6 months after voting in Hollande the French are begging Sarkozy to come back and save France.

    It’s too late, however.

  10. M.. says:

Now there is a testimonial that you can take to the bank.

If Gaddafi were alive, Labour would have got him to speak as Mintoff did back in Cospicua in 1976. And what a speech did he give, Malta is not France, is not Italy, etc etc…

Hollande gives the PL the kiss of deathMusmar fit tebut ta Joseph Muscat u ftal Partit Laburista.

  15. mattie says:

PL has not won any election yet, so what’s all this endorsing about?

    Dawn x’affarijiet huma?

Vera gol-hajt. No wonder France is where it is today.

  16. Wayne Hewitt says:

Endorsed by the worst French President ever.

  17. mattie says:

Socialists in Europe don’t care about whom they’re endorsing. They care about whom they’re going to use.

    Malta is their prey.

  18. Angelique says:

Maybe Hollande endorsed our future youngest prime minister because his twins’ names are French. Idiot.

Joseph Muscat Prime Minister. Maaaaa. Oh the embarrassment. Our country deserves sooo much better.

Lawrence Gonzi has his faults. But he does not deserve to sit in the Opposition for the next five years.

Malta, please do not press the self destruct button tomorrow.
