Bring them on Daphne, let the switchers enjoy themselves.
George Vella in Brussels eh? Partnership rebah.
[Daphne – Oh come on, Jozef. People with no principles voting for people with no principles. Do you think they’re going to be upset?]
You got me there. Just done some spring cleaning in my address book. Nothing personal, life, as they say, begins at 40.
‘Send in the clowns’.
If Kurt Farrugia and Glenn Bedingfield are present we don’t have to worry about it.
Does Kurt have to pay for the ticket?
No, but the Government can claim a child’s discount
On the other hand Bedingfield’s ticket costs more because of the extra weight. So, at the end, Kurt and Glenn’s tickets net each other out.
Already laughing my head off.
Kurt travels in the overhead hand luggage compartment.
“Ahna kollha konna kontra d-dhul ta’ Malta fl-EU pero minn dak iz-zmien waqajna minn fuq iz-ziemel u rajna d-dawl. Fuq il-bazi ta’ meritokrazija jishoqqilna li tapprovawilna l-budget. Hekk jew hekk ahna hekk imdorrijin. Il-budgets ilestimhomlna haddiehor, kemm dak domestiku kif ukoll ta l-EU.”
Kemm ha jwaqqawlna wiccna l-art.
That picture of Kurt Farrugia just made me spill ma coffee onto the keyboard. Thanks for the good laugh, I seriously needed it right now :)
On a more serious note, dawn il-qatta buffi se jwaqqewna ghac-cajt.
U Alla hares ma kienx hekk.

A Euro-sceptic delegation rolling up at an EU summit to demand that EU taxpayers in troubled economies finance us for the next seven years. How does that work?
Where is the “Ministru for dee sawt” hi?
Dak li taghna keychain fl-ahhar coffee morning li ghamlinna and who told us that Joey agreed that he should be the anointed one to look after the south’s interest.
Miskin Silvio. Il key chain jista jdawwarha ma ghonqu issa.
Kien jaf fejn ser ipoggi lill-laburisti tal qalba meta jirbhu.
Tghid Joseph nesieh?
Let’s all recall the following, before the impending unfortunate series of forthcoming events:
“Been there; done that”
Maaa how funny you are !
In the European Council there is only 1 seat for PM. There are another 3 badges for close advisors to wait in bar area. Otherwise there is a small office upstairs where experts hang around until the wee hours in case their expertise is urgently needed. Did George Vella have to wait outside, hehehee
Or a quickie at Dalli’s crib?
So, no one’s there to hold Joseph’s hand. And the only person who can provide continuity, Malta’s representative in Brussels, is left outside to make way for a coconut.
Mela Joseph kien jghid ghal Gonzi li jmur Brussels bil-private jet issa anke hu hekk ser jaghmel.
Muscat kien gie lura mil Libya fuq private jet ta’ Gaddafi.
The EU delegation will look like a film set from The Hobbit
