At a different school, he’d have got a wedgie so savage that his knickers would have split him asunder

Joe Cilia Joseph Muscat

No wonder the sort of gay men who give other gay men a bad image like Joseph Muscat so much: he’s a male bitch.

His budget statement tonight was the sort of thing you’d expect from the male version of Joan Rivers, but without the wit.

Bitch, bitch, bitch and miaowwww.

He completely lacks grace, elegance and good manners, has no sense of place or occasion, and doesn’t know when to stop.

Even when the Opposition voted in favour of the Budget, he couldn’t help one last malicious remark, thanking them sarcastically for their vote of confidence in his government.

Let this be a lesson to all parents of only children, particularly only sons: you have a very serious responsibility, an even more serious responsibility than the parents of multiple siblings.

The likelihood that your son will turn out to be hideously insufferable is very great. Yes, he may also be successful, but it is possible to be successful without being an insufferable little prick.

Muscat should fast-forward to the years, not that far ahead, when he is no longer leader of the Labour Party, still less prime minister, and when nobody will have time for him, when they will walk past him in the street as they do everybody else, including the once-hero-worshipped Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici and Alfred Sant.

An insufferable man with no manners, with a wife who is his match:

“The fund raising initiative was launched during a special event at Farsons Direct Wine Shop, where all the works of art where exhibited and guests were treated to a wine tasting session featuring Australia’s largest wine brand Jacob’s Creek.

Mrs. Michelle Muscat also PAID A SURPRISE VISIT to the launch event and gave her full support to the initiative.” http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20130406/local/painting-for-charity-artists-help-to-raise-funds-for-children-of-st-joseph-s-home.464422

A surprise visit at a launch which was, presumably, by invitation, in which case, had she been invited, her visit would NOT have been a surprise one.

    • Alexander Ball says:

I took that to mean that the organisers knew she was going to be there but they didn’t tell the guests so they would be surprised.

      I mean, how thrilling.

    • The Mole says:

      I believe that’s called gate-crashing an event.

“Being prime minister is a lonely job. You cannot lead from the crowd.”

    – Margaret Thatcher

In the first 10 minutes of his speech – I could only stand him for that much – I felt he was trying to lead from the crowd.

“Envy is the religion of the mediocre. It comforts them, it soothes their worries, and finally it rots their souls, allowing them to justify their meanness and their greed until they believe these to be virtues. Such people are convinced that the doors of heaven will be opened only to poor wretches like themselves who go through life without leaving any trace but their threadbare attempts to belittle others and to exclude – and destroy if possible – those who, by the simple fact of their existence, show up their own poorness of spirit, mind, and guts. Blessed be the one at whom the fools bark, because his soul will never belong to them.”

This guy is now out of control. Not at all thinking of the welfare of the country.

Labour just don’t know what they are doing, do they?

Why is anybody surprised? He showed that he is comfortable hitting rock bottom when he made that ‘maybe Tonio had an apparition from the Madonna’ wisecrack.

  7. M... says:

Instead of showing magnanimity the PM only has smugness to offer.

  8. Wilson says:

Will he wear his leder hosen at his next speech?? Kindly advise, I really wouldn’t want to miss that one.

  9. sky blue says:

A spoiled prat and bitchy little mummy’s boy. Not a real man at all.

  10. Victor says:

My disgust for this person grows rapidly.

How horrible it is for a man not to have the slightest inkling of how a gentleman should behave.

  11. Harry Purdie says:

I have urged my Canadian daughter. who loves Malta so much, (as do I) and has no interest in local politics, and her Maltese/Australian husband, to hurry up and obtain Canadian passports for their Maltese children.

OK, European passports are already there. However, if this weird bunch in power are successful in obtaining their goal, ie, out of the EU, Canada beckons and welcomes.

  12. cesca says:

    Bunch of uneducated hamalli.

  13. old-timer says:

The PN did NOT give a vote of confidence in the government. The voted in favour of the budget which the PN had prepared and presented. I cannot see how and why the PN should have confidence in this Government; at least until it implements the promises they made before elections.

  14. Plinius Secundus says:

Got to stick up for the old school. The blighter got a share of the fists and kicks that a spiv of his quality always attracts.

If he got less than he should have, it was because he was always cowering under the skirts of the softer-hearted members of staff.

He was always within earshot of some such ‘miss’ or other. I should know. I got a hefty detention for flooring him within sight of the fuzz when his ambling waddle got in my way.

  15. pale blue my foot! says:

He did well up to 9th March to keep the real Joseph Muscat under wraps. But now the smugness, bitchiness, malice, poison, arrogance etc etc have burst out in full force. And people are noticing and silently taking note.

  16. ciccio says:

Who was that stand-up comedian on the government’s side in Parliament?

Jeez, he imitated Joseph Muscat so well.
