What has the Justice, Police, Army and Broadcasting Minister done with his briefs?

Sorry, but I really couldn’t resist that.
He’s trying, though, miskin – during the Big Move into the new ministries, a treadmill was seen being wheeled by two dogsbodies along Strait Street and into his ministerial building.
Anyway, running a search on the justice website turns up Mallia as the lawyer in at least eight civil cases. Not a great number, you would think – but then criminal cases are not listed on the site. Perhaps he got into politics because business was dropping off.
Who’s doing his work, now? Top Criminal Lawyer Franco Debono? Nobody?

Last seen near the fountain in Palace Square.
What was the case (in your list above) of Dr Franco Mercieca vs the Medical Council?
[Daphne – It’s not THE Franco Mercieca, but a Gozitan dentist.]
I understand Dr Mallia has a legal firm where other lawyers work. Therefore I understand other lawyers from his firm will continue his briefs.
[Daphne – And he gets the income. No wonder Franco Mercieca is upset that he can’t get other people to perform eye surgery on his behalf while he gets a cut of the fees. Read my column in The Malta Independent tomorrow.]
