Ah, now we have a paediatrician heading Malta’s delegation to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)

And we heard the news not from a government statement or a Department of Information press release, but from Chris Fearne himself, in a tweet.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:

Interesting, ‘BWSC gas conversion shelved for about two years’, this as at mid-April 2013.
That means project to take off ca. Spring 2015. Gas infrastructure in place mandatory.
Sounds like the pipeline becomes urgent priority. Before the ‘investor’ realises the 30 million, handed in advance to the people of Malta, double.
This Konrad Mizzi may well have conned everyone in Labour, including Joseph himself.
I mean, would anyone put a cent into this pyramid scheme of a ‘power station’?
He is not a paediatrician – he’s a paediatric surgeon.
[Daphne – Ah, so he’s qualified to head the Maltese delegation to the OSCE then.]
Yes he is qualified.
Assuming of course that the subject of congenital anomalies is the main item on the agenda.
It is the organisation for serious childhood eccentricities after all.
I must admit that I am currently passing through a very unpatriotic phase and enjoying the ongoing unmitigated disaster enormously.
I hope it will not last too long.
I mean my erratic phase, not the disaster.
Why aren’t roles like this one assigned to career diplomats instead of having them sort out the inevitable mess the amateurs make?
Career diplomats are locked up in the attic, out of sight, on scale 10.
Lil dan missu ghamel Ministru Joseph. Zgur li kien jibki hafna iktar minn Godfrey Farrugia.
Saqsi lil min jahdem mieghu Mater Dei jekk jibkix Fearne.
Now, that’s a new way to spell it for Toni Abela. Talking of which, what’s become of that particular ox?
Aha, he beat the coconut. Twooting his own horn?
Who is qualified to choose and lead the delegation? A blogger?
[Daphne – Why a blogger? Surely a diplomat would be about right.]
