In the light of this morning’s news, this picture taken yesterday afternoon at the beach has assumed wider significance. No prizes for what Franco Debono is texting about in his friend’s beach-bed-rental hut.

Seriously, does anyone in Malta have any respect, any real respect, for Joseph Muscat?
Mrs Michelle Muscat
Mr and Mrs Muscat senior
Does he deserve to be respected? NO.
Dan kif il-mama ta’ France ma tidhirx fir-ritratt? Suppost qeghda mieghu tidlek is-suntan lotion fuq dahru.
Look at the bright side. He’s not in Speedos and we can’t see his pony.
Mela Franco qata’ xewqtu….’lahaq’ prim ministru
Ahh I thought he was texting Brad Pitt’s wife! Shame on me.
My toddler counted one whale, one duck, one horse and one weasel – did he miss anything?
One cock. There must be one there at least.
This measure is being carried out in response to PN criticism that there was no separation of justice and home affairs. According to Muscat, this confirmed that the current administration was “a government that listens”. (MaltaToday)
Joseph Muscat is so fake. Labour had been harping for this separation for four whole years. He should have listened to his own voice and not waited for the PN’s criticism now.
Daphne, by this admission, Muscat proves your point.
I am starting to suspect that there are many people holding our prime minister by the balls.
How on earth, in this age of democracy, can it be that The Times is not reporting on such issues? I did not read it (online) during the weekend and again this morning.
Therefore the only way I could find out about the new ‘justice’ role of the OPM, Lou Bondi’s appointment, and John Dalli’s ‘promotion’ was on this blog. Surely this is not responsible journalism?
[Daphne – It was reported, yes, in the coverage of this morning’s press conference. Those cannon must have been pretty scary.]
He’s already bending over to pressure. It’s such an inconsistent (not ‘listening’) government and whatever desicion is taken there’s always some previous mistake to blame.
Don’t even have to wait for Christmas for a pudding.
Note to self: give Golden Sands a wide berth
