Twanny Bronka won’t say how he repays a loan of Eur830,000 with an annual income of Eur26,599

Twanny Bronka, the Minister for Gozo (that’s his Gozo name; his registered name is Anton Refalo) declared to parliament an annual income of just Eur26,599 and an outstanding bank loan of Eur830,000.
But when Times of Malta finally got round a few days ago to asking him how he repays that loan off such a meagre income, he refused to reply.
Twanny Bronka also declared a substantial number of flats, houses, garages and offices, which he cannot possibly live in or use for administration. He obviously rents them out. Perhaps he should be asked whether he’s doing that pro bono.

Bank loan of Euro 830,000 against declared income of Euro 26,599 is what is called a non-starter in banking circles. Who does he think he is kidding?
He’s kidding tens of thousands (at least) of Maltese who refuse to realise that their beloved josephmuscat.com is made up of sleazy businessmen, serial liars, sordid criminal lawyers and other shady characters.
It is beyond me how a salary/wage earner who is taxed at source can ever get himself to vote for such a liar.
Fir-ritratt ma l-ghasfur, jidher izjed innocenti.
Ghax il-haxi taghna lkoll.
He looks like the sort of bloke who would be put on segregation for his own protection.
Why the Minister hasn’t been investigated yet for false declarations and other financial law-breaking activities is beyond me.
The police are the dominion of his friend and colleague who keeps half a million in cash ‘taht il-maduma’, and who was caught lying when this website published notarial research into the archives that showed he had not sold any property as he claimed he had done.
In the near future I will be going to the bank for a loan and most probably I will take a copy of his statement with me for reference.
It’s an open secret that Gozo will always be a tax free haven.
I once asked for a receipt in a Rabat confectionery, but the owner forgot how to switch on the cash register.
The rental of flats and farmhouses is all done without any VAT receipts.
The Gozo cheese industry does not seem to yield any revenue for the IRD.
Bank accounts in the Gozitan bank branches, per capita are bigger when compared with those in Malta.
How can you expect a Gozitan like Twanny il-Bronka to declare his income?
