Silvio Parnis’s ex campaign aide is running scared

He’s now uploaded this on Facebook and deleted ALL the posts and comments in which Silvio Parnis was discussed. And yes, it was Silvio Parnis who was discussed.
Aside from the fact that I have a piece of text that proves this beyond doubt, did Vincent de Bono work as a campaign aide to any other politician? No, he didn’t.
Well, then.
It’s amazing, isn’t it, how the Labour Party manages to scare the bejesus out of even those who vote for it.
So he’s going to let Silvio Parnis get away with it.
Read the original posts in the link below, and meanwhile, watch this video from two years ago: Vincent De Bono with Silvio Parnis.

Wouldn’t it make a lovely cross-examination session if he were to sue for libel?
[Daphne – Bunch of crass idiots.]
His lawyer will already have told him that he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
Mr De Bono, your allegations are very serious. If you were not referring to Silvio Parnis, who is this “corrupt” person? You owe us an explanation.
And what about Dr Chris Fearne? Vincent De Bono declared that he spoke to him about this person.
Dr Fearne is a government MP. He has the duty to speak out if he knows of any corrupt practices.
Will any journalist call Dr Fearne tonight?
It was San Katald who did it.
The MLP has always had a very effective set-up to crush internal dissent.
This is that sort of mechanism that the PN always lacked and always will lack, I hope.
800 delegati, footsoldiers, whose job is to check and bypass elected MP’s should these become indispensable.
Labour doesn’t need established institutions to govern, at least not for their own. Which is why it has a problem with law and the rest of the electorate.
This Vincent de Bono/Silvio Parnis thing really sounds like a lovers’ tiff.
Sant Ubaldesca versus San Katald.
Quod scripti scripti.
I wonder if Silvio Parnis is aware of the Streisand effect.
Mr. De Bono made serious allegations when he mentioned Prof. Kenneth Wayne, referring to him by name and position, and asked him to investigate the uses made of over Euro 100,000 collected over five years on a TV program – hence collections from the public. Mr. De Bono says that he heard that those funds were used for private purposes.
This matter requires an investigation by the police under criminal law, not just by the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations.
One hopes that Prof. Kenneth Wayne and the police will deal with this matter seriously and publicly.
The police? What police?
Imbasta qaghad jilghabha tal-martri u jipprezenta ruhu bhala whistleblower.
On Parnis’s first reaction he takes everything back. In my eyes De Bono’s behaviour shows it was not justice he was after but rather his iced bun.
It’s another case of a stupid person who reckons that ‘not mentioning a name’ prevents others from making deductions.
Also, had the FB posts not been directed towards Parnis, the latter would be defending De Bono outright rather than being uncertain whom to sue.
It was quite clear from the outset that De Bono would have said none of all that had he got whatever job he expected from Silvio Parnis.
And besides, if he knew anything about embezzled funds and didn’t report it promptly, that makes him an accomplice by virtue of cover-up, so why was he shooting his mouth off? Some people just were not graced with two brain cells to rub together.
Of course, this is no different to the clans engaged in a turf war to maintain the population.
I always found Silvio Parnis’s distribution of medicines, effectively a parallel social services system identical to the methods employed by the Casalesi Camorra.
They had TV programmes, raised millions and controlled areas to an extent that people in need went to their area managers for housing, benefits and work.
No need to mention that local politicians were family. Saviano blew the whole thing up with his book Gomorra which, I think, should be compulsory reading in our schools.
On rereading De Bono’s posts, I feel the tone is more of some kind of threat or blackmail towards Parnis. De Bono is showing Parnis he is ready to spill the beans, but has not done so as yet.
Why not? What is he waiting for? What is the use of publishing all these allegations, hinting clearly at who this person is but stopping short of mentioning his name?
So it is clear De Bono is or was waiting for a reaction from the person in question before going any further. However, Parnis’s reaction is not what De Bono was hoping for apparently.
I cannot understand.
If he was not referring to Silvio Parnis, who exactly was he referring to?
Very very strange.
In an era (before last March) when the Commissioner of Police enjoyed the trust of all the Maltese, he would have been asked to investigate.
Would Mr. Debono have spilt the beans on the would- be minister of the sawt if he had been rewarded with an iced bun after the general elections?
If the allegations are found to be true, would that mean that Mr Debono could be considered as an accessory, since he was aware of wrongdoings and did nothing about it at the time?
It is hoped that the police will investigate these allegations.
Dream on.
So much for whistleblowing.
He was not blowing his whistle, but blowing his top after being let down despite years of volunteering for Parnis. Serves him right – he is as idiotic as Parnis.
Mr Silvio Debono was complaining justifiably that the distribution of iced buns after Muscat’s victory at the polls was not carried fairly down the ranks of the Labour movement down to its plebs.
Seems like the whistle blower was coerced to swallow the whistle.
So sorry! I meant VINCENT Debono not Silvio Debono – but all would know who I meant.
Well this fella expected a promotion which was not based on merit so I cannot possibly respect him.
The Maltese condition of sucking up to the top dog in the hope of extracting a favour or two is really despicable. I remember the job of ‘prefect’ was the most coveted of them all at school – and the power came with the territory.
While Vince Debono urges Silvio Parnis to sue you and NET TV, Silvio Parnis issues a warning to Mr Debono:
“The PL MP said that he has presented all the evidence to his lawyer and the whole thing will now be taken to court, unless Mr De Bono retracts his allegations and apologises.”

Dumb and dumber.
Forget Silvio Parnis. If Mr Debono knew of a corrupt practice he was duty bound to report it, otherwise he is party to it. Where is the Police Commissioner?
Logically, you’re right. On top of that, De Bono is a mega ass because he gave himself away.
To Vincent De Bono:
Next time, go all the way. You know what they call somebody who doesn’t.
“Mr Parnis said that Mr De Bono used to work with him and he had promised him a job on his secretariat should he be given a cabinet post. ”
This is evidence of potential corrupt practices.
If Mr Vince Debono is emphasising that he “did not mention names” NOW is the time to state categorically whom he had meant instead.
Unfortunately for him all those who read his Facebook messages concluded reasonably that he was referring to Silvio Parnis. This could not have been a collective mental aberration throughout his MLP following.
If he wants to be believed that he meant somebody else he needs to stand up to be counted and tell who that somebody else is.
Now he offers his unconditional service and obedience to Dr. Fearne. His regular FB posts about the “Ruzarju tat-tbatija” are hilarious.
[Daphne – I think what is far more hilarious, in a sad way, is a 40-year-old man like Vincent De Bono, who still lives with his parents at that age, writing on Facebook, in a totally guileless way as though this is entirely normal, about how his mother brought out the Christmas decorations in an attempt at cheering him up because he is so down with all this suffering. You know, as though he is five years old. PLEASE.]
Daphne, is that very strange in Malta?
As usual they did what they know best and got Mr De Bono by the goolies reminding him that a whistleblower whistles best without teeth.
And that’s just for starters. The main course will be served by Mallia’s catering services.
And the switchers believed that Labour had changed and history will not repeat itself. Morons. Things will get worse, much worse.
Are there a dozen people who present MINTIEX WAHDEK?
Dan Vince jew opportunist mil-kbar jew halliel. M’hemmx triq ohra.
Jekk f’ hames snin li kien jaghmel il-programm kien jaf bis-serq allura huwa komplici mhux whistle blower. Issa mar jitlijaq ma’ Fearne u haseb li l-poplu huwa beccun.
Ha jipprova jirredikola n-Net news u dan il-blog. Ma’ min rajtek xebbahtek jghid il-Malti, Sur de Bono. Hux hekk tridha, ta’ DE BONO? Kulhadd jaf li ghas-sur Parnis qieghed tghid.
Provajt ma ssemmiex ismijiet biex minghalik tahrab mill-illegalita, imma waqajt ghan-nejk.
L-iktar haga serja hi li dan ried ikun whistleblower wara li ma hax li ried.
Mr.Debono, you owe Malta an explanation.
It is clear that you were referring to Silvio Parnis, to who else?
It is he who was a mayor (Paola). It is he who depicts himself as a philanthropist. It is he who you worked with for years. It is he who today is an MP.
We are not a bunch of fools.
Mafjuzi.
To Vincent De Bono : gifa.
Yes, it was Silvio Parnis you were talking about.
Issa fattarta.
‘Qatt ma semmejt ismijiet’, he tells us, over and over. Yet he does not deny at any point that he was in fact referring to Silvio Parnis, even if without mentioning his name.
Mr Debono, there are ways and means of identifying and associating people to what you said.
Whose assistant were you? Where did you go to render your voluntary services, and to promote whom? ALL CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE POINTED TO THE ONE AND ONLY PERSON.
Your straightforward words LEFT NO REASONABLE DOUBT AS TO WHO YOU WERE REFERRING TO.
Why did you opt to Mention Dr Fearne by name and opted to cover THE VILLAIN`S NAME?
Incidentally, Mr Debono this website is the one of the very few places where we can democratically and freely express ourselves.
Join us and experience to what lengths PL would go in its witch hunt and burning at the stake.
What a mess Malta is in.
Journalists self-impose censorship.
For many people politicians are untouchable demi-gods who can’t even be mocked (that would be an “attack”).
Conspiracy theories are the order of the day (the usual “media manipulated by whoever criticises the government” drivel).
The left is ironically made up of a bunch of would-be Thatcherites who’d sell their mums if it generated money.
Many people are always on the wrong side of justice, bashing serious, investigative journalism rather than corrupt politicians.
Malta must be the only country in the universe to think that justice hinders a country. You need to really be insane not to realise that it was always corruption and its offshoots that damaged Malta.
Will Times of Malta call Franco Debono and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando for their valued opinion?
Typical Labour. Evident. That is why Labour loved Diva Debono and JPO because they hang their dirty laundry all over Facebook and on Times of Malta.
Vincent Debono clearly does not want to be considered like the Cockfighter and Botox Jeff. He knows what staunch Labour supporters can do to him. He is trying to come clean. Yet the milk is spilled.
And typical also of Labour, he is now blaming “others” for revealing the “name” he so hard tried to “hide”. Hallina, Sur Debono.
Eight months in power and they’re already bickering for the crumbs. Mejtin bil-guh u korotti kienu u jibqghu.
This Vincent de Bono episode is a clear illustration of the contagious “what’s in it for me” disease which will ultimately be the Labour Party’s undoing.
The bickering and vindictiveness are bound to continue, uncovering hidden truths in their hurricane path, as reality, and disillusionment with it, sets in.
At 0.14 he says “Joseph dejjem jivvinta”. We certainly have no doubt about it.
