Meanwhile, in other Malta Taghna Lkoll news: Willie can’t find a garage, because when he does, he’ll no longer receive his grace-and-favour remittance from the government

Willie Mangion Mascoli is getting paid by the government to look for garages in which bands can rehearse. Well, they just wanted to put him on the state payroll for appearing on a Labour billboard (total corruption), but he has to pretend at least.
Funny how nobody picked up on the inbuilt problem with this cunning one-year contract. Willie Mangion Mascoli has no incentive to find those garages before the year is up.
You have to read this news report. It’s a total corrupt farce: you would never know how difficult it is to organise something quite so complicated as finding a rehearsal space.

L-akbar purcinell u buffu li qatt rat Malta. Opportunist aktar minnu ghadu qatt ma deher go pajjizna taghna lkoll.
Qatt ma kien kapaci ghalxejn u ppretenda xi iced bun minghand il-Gvern Nazzjonalista talli kien kapaci jzomm microphone f’idejh. Shame on you, PURCINELL.
Can’t agree with your first statement. The guy you’re describing is currently in Miami rewriting his speech. Twat.
Madonna, kemm ma nifilhux.
Maybe half his time is taken up with looking for a flat in Shanghai for you-know-who.
Maybe we can lend him a hand. We can find a few garages for him, and then we will be entitled to a commission.
And he will be taken off the state payroll and sent back to earn his living in the private sector, where he would need to perform and get tangible results.
And I thought this was a photo commissioned for a Panadol advert.
What’s that silly photo trying to say?
“I’m smiling with this huge problem I have on my mind”?
“I want a facelift like this”?
Shh. He is trying to think.
Willie, I wouldn’t mind if you use my garage. It’s empty anyway.
Jien ma nistax nifhem kif ma jisthux juru wicchom.
Ghalhekk kien se jghattih b’idejh imma l-photographer anticipah b’seconda.
Imma kif hadd ma jghid li dan hu skandlu u korruzzjoni? Jaghtuh salarju tal-gvern ghax mar fuq billboard tal-partit. Jimpjegawh biex isib il-garaxxijiet – inkredibbli.
Ara b’ xiex ikollna nitqannew minhabba qabda poxtijiet votanti.
Skuzani imma veru affarijiet li ma niflahx narahom meta niftakar li meta kien hemm in-Nazzjonalisti fil-gvern, tal-Labour kienu jaghmlu minn kollox biex jivvintaw li l-icken haga kienet skandlu.
Does his contract not require him to file periodic and detailed written reports on work in progress, accounting for time spent on the job, the various premises identified and inspected, an assessment on fitness for purpose or otherwise, running costs thereof and other basic measures of accountability?
Who does he report to anyway? and finally, does anyone in Authority even give a hoot. The way things are going a further year’s extension to his term of office at the very least seems to be well on the cards.
Willie Mangion Mascoli thinks that he’s God’s great gift to humanity. In reality he is pathetic.
Is he rubbing his temples to invite some higher spirit to find him a garage?
All billboard sensations are failing to deliver.

It’s not easy finding a single garage in the short time span of four months, but he is trying hard.
If he’s successful I suggest the following career progression. First he should be promoted from locating garages to locating social housing in Minister Marie Louis Coleiro Preca’s ministry.
Once he’s successful there as well then he should be promoted to work for Malta Enterprise locating factories within Chris Cardona’s Ministry.
Ultimately, and I have no doubt he would be successful in this field as well, he should be promoted to meet the challenge of challenges and be given the impossible task of locating the Transport Authority Executive Chairman’s pushchair.
When I was about 16 years of age I used to manage a rock-band, on a voluntary basis, and I found them 2 different garages in the space of 3 years. Just saying.
As someone suggested on The Malta Independent website, Australia Hall would have made a great venue both for rehearsals and concerts. Now, why didn’t Willie Mangion kick up a fuss when the Government stopped its repossession proceedings against the PL?
Ghax mbaghad jispiccaw huma b’teatru bla saqaf.
Muscat’s government continues to treat the electorate with contempt.
