A timely reminder of how people like John Dalli are seen in the normal world beyond the rabbit-hole of Malta Taghna Lkoll and the Maltese press

Read Christopher Snowdon’s blog-post back in July, when the Johnny Bahamas scandal broke: John Dalli does a lot for charity but he doesn’t like to talk about it.

Meanwhile, in Malta, journalists like Reno Bugeja and Noel Grima treat John Dalli as any normal person. Actually they are in awe when they listen to him.
J. Dalli helped these African charity organizations at a huge personal sacrifice. He travelled to the other side of the world and back in secret and right after a long period of convalescence.
No doubt, he cannot give us the details, because a true gentleman does not talk about the charity work he does.
Now my point is this. Where are these charity organizations?
Why don’t these ungrateful bastards come out and put in a good word for our champion?
Good to see your work acknowledged. Thank you.
I suggest you look into the agricultural land concession schemes in Tanzania and Uganda, and the “neo-con” fundamentalist Evangelical churches which benefit from those schemes, then link everything up to John Dalli’s “philanthropic” efforts and you’ll have the full picture of things.
Passports up for grabs here, arable land up for grabs elsewhere.
