  1. Joe Fenech says:

    One wonders why the MLP is Europhobic?

  2. Beingpressed says:

    I’m neither shocked or embarrassed. Just relieved that maybe something finally is going to happen.

    It’s a start.

  3. ciccio says:

    Did any of the journalists at The Times ask the Parliamentary Secretary for Animal Rights the question about his progress on seeking a “technical loophole” for the trapping of certain bird species in the Autumn?

    I think we should know the answer before the 24th May vote.

  4. Jozef says:

    I really want to see Muscat block this referendum.

  5. Jozef says:

    44,000 people can’t be wrong.

    • rose says:

      36000 were

    • ciccio says:

      Did you notice how the hunters have not revealed the number of their signatures as yet?

      How many do they plan to collect?

      • ghalgolhajt.com says:

        100 K (they already have 90 K)

      • ciccio says:

        Doesn’t that mean that they no longer can be regarded as a minority? I mean 100,000 is not exactly a minority, is it?

        Their petition is self-defeating.

      • Jozef says:

        Let’s see them (FKNK)www.ghalgolhajt.com aka ‘B cool B Labour’.

        Perici Calascione said otherwise, such is his despair that he’s already resorted to blackmail the vote in 2018.

        I suppose you haven’t understood what’s opening up around you. Please don’t mind Cyrus, he tends to go on a rampage first, leave in a rush later.

        If Muscat doesn’t have the balls to face your incessant armed bullying which is no longer seen as a ‘hobby’ but a real and proper turf war, civil society will take care of it.

        What will you do then, take to the streets and empty your shotguns at anyone you deem an enemy? This is not about your right to pursue your ‘hobby’, this has become a collective awareness of your mental imbalance leading to real psychosis.

        Shooting anything that moves is what you are.

        Radical reform cooking my dears, you will be left to roam if you have to hunt. European style. And so bloody what if you don’t have the money to buy your estates, what you’ve misappropriated is going back to the public.

    On a separate but very relevant topic:

    Has anyone seen the declarations of assets of the Ministers at 31st December 2013?

    From the “Brikkkssa” – The Code of Ethics of Ministers:

    “48. Within two months from his appointment and not later than the month of March of each year, every Minister should deposit with the Secretary to the Cabinet a declaration listing:

    (a) the immovable property of the Minister or in relation to which he has some form of title:

    (b) shares, bonds or other interests which he may have in a company or partnership, public or private;

    (c) the sum total of money he has deposited in banks;

    (d) directorships or other offices he holds;

    (e) his income in the previous year;

    (f) the sum total of loans he may have received which are still outstanding.

    49. This declaration should reflect the position as at the 31st December of the previous year, and under the items (a), (b) and (c) mentioned above, it should include the property of the spouse of the Minister if it forms part of the community of acquests, as well as of the minor children of the Minister provided he has their custody.”

    The PN opposition should ask for the immediate publication of those declarations, and in any case before the 24th May vote to allow for sufficient public analysis and astonishment.

    Can’t wait to see how much cash the Minister for the Police, Army, Broadcasting, National Security and the Eurovision has stashed under the mattress on New Year’s Eve of 2014.

  7. Lupin says:

    Finally someone who has the guts to stand against the arrogance of hunters in Malta. One man against thousands, and still is solid arguments are most convincing.

  8. Kif inhi din? says:

    Does hunting form part of the curriculum at St Edward’s College?

  9. E says:

    I have to say, I was not prepared for the hunter to be so well-spoken.

  10. Angel says:

    Malta f’xi haga hekk tissemma!
