Do I detect the biggest iced bun in this government’s confectionery counter?

All those forays on the Labour Party’s television station, aimed at doing the Gonzi government as much harm as possible, really paid off for this particular bun-hunter.

Some people have no shame.

But the biggest iced bun yet is the award of a €500,000 tender to the GWU for the lease of a parking area for TM. The GWU’s offer was not the cheapest by far. This is a scandal of the first order.

Daphne, there’s an opportunity for a mega-scoop in this award if the auditor general does not beat you to it and get there before you do.

That wreck is falling to pieces. It will cost a fortune to bring it up to scratch. There is no space anywhere to create more parking places and its location is such that further excavation is likely to make the whole structure slide right into the bypass.

I am surprised that some bank has not yet seized that property to make up for the debts accumulated over the years.

Peppa, you are surprised for the simple reason that you are obviously unaware of who really owns the damn place.

Including all the obsolete medical equipment.

Gonzi & the PN shot themselves in the foot when they appeased him by putting him on the EP candidate list in 2009.
