Giovanni Kessler calls Mr DJ a liar

Published: July 3, 2014 at 3:08pm

I quote from a report in Times of Malta:

In a statement this morning, the Olaf press office said:

“- Mr Kessler has never had any contact with Mr Lawrence Gonzi, they have never met nor discussed any matter.

– – Mr Kessler is not aware of the alleged tapes and conversations that Mr Dalli is referring to. He has therefore never mentioned such issues to any journalist. The quote attributed to him is entirely false,” Olaf said.

Does the ex commissioner realise that he let a cat out?

  2. Tini says:

You can’t expect any better from Dalli Ganni, hu Bastjan u Gorg. He thinks that insulting upstanding persons is a fit and proper defence of his disgraceful actions.

  3. ciccio says:

The tapes to which DJ refers are probably held in safe custody at the Bahamas. Maybe DJ himself took them there, on a return flight where he did not touch the tarmac.

    • bob-a-job says:

      There are no such tapes.

Cyrus Engerer wasn’t around with his mobile.

      • ciccio says:

I know that there are no such tapes. If there were, Dalli BA, HuBastjan would by now have made them public to prove that he is right and Kessler is wrong.

      • silvio says:

Time will tell, hopefully soon, who the liar is.

In the meantime we should just wait for the outcome of all this. I’m sure that we are practically all convinced that John Dalli was set up and he will eventually be vindicated.

That will be a happy day for all us Maltese, except of course for those who had an axe to grind.

I am expecting some apologies from all those who were all out to do nothing but harm to Mr Dalli.

What a day it would be if we were to see him as Malta’s next President.

You would have thought that a has been political figure like Dalli would find better ways of spending his retirement. Instead of tying us all up in knots, he should do something more constructive like for instance, nurturing grandchildren or charity work.

Ray Zammit is a relative of Manuel Mallia.

This is shocking to say the least.

How can we have confidence in the police being an autonomous force when they’re going to be run by a relative of the Police Minister?!

  6. Joseph Ellul-Grech says:

Mr Kessler is wrong. John Dalli is a compulsive deceitful liar. Dalli is so prone to lying that he believes his own lies.

  7. Lovejoy says:

How dare a police investigation change track just because there is a change of government. That should be completely irrelevant. The media and what’s left of the opposition should be gnashing away at this like a rottweiler until heads roll.
