Saviour Balzan is part of the ‘select group of journalists’ chosen by the prime minister to accompany him to China

Has his staff member Miriam Dalli (not the MEP) gone too? Or has he taken her place? If so, she must be hoovering up the biscuits in her frustration at not being able to spend a few days in China in close proximity to her crush object Kurt Farrugia.
Expect lots of incisive reporting from Beijing, dear readers, and if ‘national security’ allows it, a ground-breaking interview with Mrs Konrad Mizzi, who’s with them.
This is the perfect opportunity for Times of Malta – which has also been selected for the trip – to challenge Mrs Mizzi directly about her Top Secret contract. But will it do so? Will BS?

On Joseph Muscat’s roadmap, all roads lead to China.
To be precise, to one specific address: The Great Hall of the People, Tienanmen Square, Beijing, China.
Film making is covered by today’s MOU. They won’t be making any documentaries about the victims of the Tiananmen massacre.
Mario Demarco doesn’t look like he wants to rock the boat on China. You can forget any challenges from Times of Malta.
Only Mario Demarco? The other seems to be fully committed to Joseph and team.
Demarco pretty much sets Times of Malta’s editorial line. The other (Simon Busuttil) sets the Opposition line, and yes, he’s Taghna Lkoll now. Ghax investiment barrani is not to be scoffed at, heqq.
Kif ghamewna l-flus. The next edition of the Fehmiet Bazici (zutt!) will be a coffee-table format cheque book.

Cowards die many times before their deaths. Would BS write about the air quality in China? Would Times of Malta’s reporter ask Sai Mizzi Liang about her contract and whether she’s divorced from the energy minister?
Well, finally:
Simon Busuttil

Independent media left behind: Joseph Muscat must be forgetting that he is the Prime Minister of a DEMOCRATIC country.
And when he finally tweets, it’s about the most trivial detail of the whole evil conspiracy.
Some opposition, please. The clue’s in the name.
Facebook, not Twitter, but you’re right.
