Times of Malta sings for its supper all the way from China, taking Sai Mizzi’s words on trust and not bothering to double check.

A major Chinese digital products company is interested in setting up a free trade zone in Malta to showcase its products in Europe, according to Sai Mizzi, the Malta Enterprise representative to Asia.

Why all this fanfare that Sai Mizzi is qualified for the job? What are those qualifications?

More like a standards free trade zone. It’s where he’ll get his tablet b’xejn ghal kullhadd.

Which is why Varist thinks children should learn Chinese; to operate the darn things.
