Hey there, Codruta’s husband: you have a friend in China

Our police minister has been eclipsed. A state official in China has been caught with $33 million in cash at home.
Investigators used 16 counting-machines to get through the notes, four of which broke down under stress.
Codruta’s husband’s half a million euros in cash, stashed in the safe at their Hastings nest, pale by comparison.
He must be furious. Look at him fuming here in the grass.

Actually… the toad is quite cute.
Which one?
Daphne, the $33 million were verified by a manual count. Are you sure Mallia had just €500k stashed in his palace?
I guess nobody will ever know.
Correct. Did any investigator ever count Mallia’s money?
And then there was the other issue which arose during the Parliamentary debate on the sale of Maltese passports. It was not clear if Mallia can read correctly numbers ending with many zeroes, so I am still in doubt whether Mallia’s hoard consisted of Eur 500,000, Eur 500 million, Eur 500 billion or Eur 500 trillion.
Uncanny resembelance…..on he other hand there is a difference in the genre..our police minister is an evil, conniving toad!!!!
Allec kemm jixbhu!
Malta is like one big game of chess at the moment.
Who or what moves next?
When you overcome the enemy make sure every single threat is eliminated, every voice silenced…
‘Police officers should not be hindered from doing their duties, knowing that they could be removed if they take a decision with which the Executive did not agree.
This new agreement undermines the foundations on which the police force was built, and this is its independence, integrity and autonomy, and it also weakens the trust the people have in the institution.’
This after officers were warned about giving out any information. Seems like its check mate in the law and order arena.

Grabbit …… grabbit ……….. grabbit.
Snatchie & Snatchie more likely.
The 500k would have multiplied a few times over by now I’d think.
There it is: Black on white by the BBC.
For those who thought the “evil nationalists and bloggers” were exaggerating.
I think they all need to sit down and spend some time pouring over a dictionary instead of their money-boxes.
Is it possible you give us the link to it?

Chess has rules.
Toads can jump, but I wonder whether our police minister can lift himself 1mm off the ground.
He can jump, only when he’s angry.
It’s him, but she forgot to kiss him.
“Investigators used 16 counting-machines to get through the notes, four of which broke down under stress.”
The $s were made in the USA but the counting machines were Made in (Commie) China
Police Minister undermines the Police Force through unprecedented interference in its structure:
