Joseph Garrett - obviously brought up to believe that beating up women is normal practice

Joseph Garrett – obviously brought up to believe that beating up women is normal practice

All bravado with each other on Facebook, about how they’re going to smash my face in with a knuckle-duster (tal-lira), then they’re the sort who would stand stock still and stare disbelievingly if they saw me in real life. I’ve had so much experience of that.

And if I said Boo, they’d run a mile. Most of them come up to my arm-pit anyway. It’s only the women who actually go for me (which figures, given that they’re usually the sort who grew up brawling with other women in the street), and confused gender types like that man who makes a living by stripping hair off pudenda in Zurrieq.

The most feminist liberal government in the history of Malta, supported by men who think it entirely normal to boast in the most public way possible about their desire to smash a woman’s face in.

Go to hell, the lot of you. Hamalli United, really and truly. Those social-climbing frauds Ramona Frendo and Marlene Seychell – from the Mintoffian gutter to pseudo-society via a fake accent, some poor sod’s scalp and his money – must be so proud to have the same ‘fidi’ and make the same choices as these knuckle-draggers.

Does Acting Police Commissioner Ray Zammit require a formal complaint from me to take action against these Labour savages, or is he too busy investigating the Chinese at Leisure Clothing?

Joseph Garrett was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for punching a woman, natch, and injuring her grievously, but the Appeals Court changed that to a suspended sentence because he “had since changed his ways”.

Clearly, he has not.

    Dawn fejn tghallmu jiktbu bil-Malti?

  2. Denis says:

Ignorant dirt of Maltese society, inbred savages with a lust of hate and no sense of reason, a mind full of synthetic straw who discovered how bully and brave one can be behined a keyboard.

  3. Daisy Wells says:

Well actually the saying fits them perfectly. Empty vessels make most sound. What a bunch of hamalli Laburisti mill-qiegh.

  4. Stephen says:

They read all your posts and after much analysis and deliberation, concluded they do not entirely agree with you. Their logical conclusion is that you deserve to have your face smashed in.

    Cavemen kollha kemm intom.

    • Catsrbest says:

Well, the one in the last photo really looks like a caveman, while all of them have a much inferior IQ to that of a baboon.

    • ciccio says:

“The Magistrates’ Court had sentenced Mr Garrett to two-and-a-half years in jail, which the appeal court changed into a jail term of two years, suspended for four.” – May 2012

Mr. Garrett could still be jailed for 2 years because the term of the suspension has not lapsed as yet.

  5. Lizz says:

Kollha helwin jidhru, l-iktar il-Hairy Bear minfugh.

I just wonder how their women suffer such an attitude? They must be really desperate or just outright brain dead.

  6. NGT says:

You’re dealing with chavs here – a “curkett tal-lira” is a gold sovereign ring. It’s a status symbol that doubles as a weapon.

[Daphne – I know exactly what it is.]

  7. bob-a-job says:

‘Does Acting Police Commissioner Ray Zammit require a formal complaint from me to take action against these Labour savages, or is he too busy investigating the Chinese at Leisure Clothing?’

He’s busy listening to the Cyrus Frame-up Tapes so he can pass the relevant parts to Owen Bonnici for action.

  8. Antoine Vella says:

Does anyone know what “ze fe ke me” means?

  9. Joe Fenech says:

    Daqt jinghataw Giegh ir-Republika ghas-servizz li offrew lid-demokrazija f’Malta.

  10. Be-witched says:

I can just imagine what these ‘heroes’ would do to their ‘womenfolk’ in a household argument. Wife beaters’ mentality still ripe and popular in 2014 Malta.

  11. ken il malti says:

That Luca must be the ISIS rep in Malta.

    • Carl says:

Beacuse of the beard or bad language?? The beard is called style!! For your info ken i think that sometimes even you use some bad language ( so called ‘hamalli’ ) So please look yourself in the mirror and than if you are perfect you’re free to judge! In simple words don’t be blinded by your stupidity and nonsense!!

  12. Someone says:

Right next to the punch-up threat we find the picture of the baby. How cute: the poor thing’s eyes in the family picture seem to be saying “Please save me”.

And is that Migneco fellow about to rip his partner’s head off or is that the Maltese caveman version of a hug?

    • Roger Tanti says:

I am very saddned to see a picture of a very good friend of mine Luca Migneco put up like this. First of all Luca migneco, has a golden heart and regularly help people in need, he is also an animal lover who has more then once went out of his way to save stray dogs ans cats and least important but has to be mentioned in this contest is he is SURELY NOT A LABOUR Supporter! Do you even guys do background checks when you post these pics?

[Daphne – People with golden hearts do not favour violence, Roger.]

      • Roger Tanti says:

Daphne I respect you.. I like your posts, I like your blog and I like your articles and you are usually right on everything you say in here.. but I can assure you as I know Luca personally that he is a non violent person as well as he’s a nationalist. I have known him for many years and can vouch for these two.

Not sure where you got this idea of violence? Is it his beard maybe? I am stopping here on Luca, as he clearly don’t need any lawyers but regardless whoever gave you this information is not reliable at all … and checks should be done before painting a picture about someone, here we are shaming our own.

[Daphne – I’m sorry, but have you actually read what this is all about: the clue is in the Facebook posts uploaded here. Smarten up.]

  13. Makjavel says:

Migneco qisu terrorist tal-ISIS , ghadu kif gie lura biex jistrieh jew isserrah.

  14. Albert Bonnici says:

What I think is that probably the 0.05% of brain power they might have has concluded that their leader has lied to them no end. The fact that you( Daphne) point it out leads them to desperate thoughts showing their true colours

  15. Malti ta' Veru says:

The sad thing is, though, that this sort of person has managed to crawl out of the hovel in which they wallowed in their own drainage, after the infamous 18,000 “heroes” decided that giving Joseph a chance was a good sporting move.

Sad, deluded dreamers the lot of them and we have to suffer their senseless behaviour for the next three years and probably another five after that. Malta and Gozo would probably have hoot rock bottom well before that best before date has expired, though.

  16. Wilson says:

These people ought to be taxed for breathing other people’s air.

  17. Jozef says:

Aaron Camilleri’s very proud of his toys on Facebook.

  18. Alan says:

“I will give my stone to the first one of you that has never sinned” !! You don’t have a clue who these people are and you go on judging them just because you think they support Pl? Or because one has a beard? I would really like to see what you people do for a living as it looks like you’re saints with no sins!. Ignorance is bliss and you being judgmental like this just shows how ignorant you are. Just go home to your partners’ tonight and reflect on your perfect life. Just remember that by judging people you’re lowering yourself even more. Now go ahead open up my facebook and write up a story about me ;)

[Daphne – I’ll try and be patient here. No, they didn’t end up on this website because of a beard or political preferences, but because they espouse physical violence as the proper response to freedom of expression.]

  19. Christina Hayes says:

    You’re all pathetic!!! Simples

  20. Amy Deguara says:

What makes you think they they are hamali? Just by looking at a photo you cannot tell who the person really is. Stop judging people.. The lot of you commenting here is what is truly wrong and sad in this world. No wonder our world is what it is.. If you knew 2 of them you would know just how amazing they are and all the good they have done in malta saving many stray animals and paying for there care out of their own money. They have dedicated their lives to these animals. You should all be ashamed at your nasty comments.

[Daphne – So, Amy, please tell us what you think about what they wrote, and whether you agree with them that men should punch women in the face with a knuckle-duster for saying things they don’t like. One of them already has a two-and-a-half year prison sentence for doing just that.]

    • thealley says:

Amy, I also help animals, and I believe you’re very lucky you haven’t yet been punched in the face by someone in the street.

Now don’t tell me I’m being cruel. Remember, I help animals.

  21. Joe Fenech says:

Where’s Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando and his cyber bullying campaign? And what was his position on the Cyrus Engerer’s case?

  22. thealley says:

Jaqq, min jaf meta jiekol l-ispaghetti Luca Migneco kif ticcappaslu z-zalza mad-daqna. Possibbli ma titqazzux dik it-tfajla li hemm mieghu?

  23. thealley says:

Meanwhile, 3 hrs ago, Migneco posted “I am a person who has no hatred towards anybody”. Yeah right, except that yesterday he said “Ghada ma sabitx kappell jigiha”. Pull the other one, Migneco.

  24. Joseph Borg says:

So the Appeals Court changed Joseph Garrett’s 30-months prison sentence to a suspended sentence because he ‘had since changed his ways’.

But meanwhile, a reformed drug addict is sent to jail for 18 months.
