That sarcastic tone will eventually lead to Joseph Muscat’s undoing

It has even begun to grate with Kurt Sansone at Times of Malta. If you’re going to make a sarcastic remark, you had better make sure your tone is pleasant and jocular.
The combination of sarcastic remark and sarcastic tone creates an atmosphere of contempt.

Cameron is probably thinking “what a pea-sized wanker this guy is.”
That would be one fat pea, though.
This photo is what I’ll call “the pesisu (jekk ghandu) photo.”
I had learnt, that in the hamallu world, that single word strikes home with surprising effect, if true.
Where is his British humour?
He saves it for his man-crush, Cameron.
The higher one flies the harder one falls .
Especially when your height to weight ratio has exploded on soup and salad and a couple of oranges for lunch.
I would not have noticed the journalist’s comment “…in a sarcastic tone” because Maltese journalists have a tendency to add things like that.
In my opinion it is used too often and clutters up the writing. It also makes it sound like Hello Magazine.
However in this case I think the comment was necessary and I can just hear Muscat saying it. As you know sarcasm is a device used by those who are not intelligent enough to use wit.
Actually Cameron seems to be resisting the urge to scratch Muscat on the head.
You know, just like you reluctantly do to a chihuahua who keeps pestering you with those needy, beady eyes, even though you can’t stand the breed because of its unpredictable sharp snap and lack of presence.
Sarcasm is the recourse of a weak mind.
Actually coming from someone in a position of authority it sounds like a bullying tactic, the growl before the bite if you will. Anyone with a brain could see that any budgetary measures are a load of bull if in real life those in power get away with murder i.e. avoid rules and taxes and are on a gorging spree.
Acrid remarks have become the hallmark of this government. Note here the shoot down approach with no follow through with actions which are expected of a minister:
”Dr Azzopardi had said that during the recent cyclone, the Marsascala unit had moved and water had gone in, leading the staff to become “very worried” about the possibility of electrocution.
Dr Mallia said he had no knowledge of this “quasi-tragedy”, but resented the impression that the government had taken just any container and turned it into a police station.”
Of course he cannot commit himself to asking for another investigation, as he should, because then he would have to spend months or even years studying the conclusions and possibility of their publication.
But then this was a ‘special’ container, silly us! What were we thinking?

Has no one noticed the gesture the guy in the middle of the photo is making?
He looks so ‘happily’ stupid
Muscat is Malta’s modern-day Censu Zatat.
